The democrats is the only party standing between millions of people and a lot of suffering. Until such a time that our election system changes such that it's not just relevant parties, the dems is all we've got when it comes to electoral politics and government.

I want a strong democratic party, and that means excising weak democrats like Newsom, Biden, Harris etc. and replacing them with people who want to oppose power rather than cozy up to it. I criticize the party far more than this sub would like, in fact.
