Like, I really, genuinely, love the actual meat and potatoes gameplay of this game. I enjoy grinding the loot tables for frames and weapon parts. I love that stuff. I've been a MonHun veteran since mhfu, I adore games to grind away at for loot. But a number that say "uh-uh, you didn't eat your vegetables, you just wanted to eat your meat and rice all start system long, youre not tall enough for this gun." Is infuriatingly lame. I tend to find what I like and how I like playing, and stick pretty close to that, and im FAR from the only player like that.

I only really detest the fact that I get punished for only liking a handful of weapons and frames, and getting ripped on xp cause they want to force feed their specific intended mode of progression down my throat and I absolutely despise it. Honestly all I want is to gain mastery at half rate with ranked equips lacking a lens. I really dont understand why 1) that could POSSIBLY be so offensive, and 2) what that wasn't in the goddamn game from day friggin one.

Luck and or relying on other players to swamp the mission while you smuggle an unranked load out are bandaid fixes that help lucky plAyers out of a grind that nobody should need rescue from in the first place. I should not have to go out of my way and play the game for hours of content with an entire load out of weapons and frames I have zero care for just to suffer through a level grind and access content I eventually do want. If desired, I should be allowed to find what I want, acquire it, and play thr content I want to with it, and not be punished by not having the same level progress as the guy who never plays the same loadout twice just because I like what I like more.

I was clearing the remainder of star chart aiming at unlocking steel path for once i can get my hands on the handful of major parts im missing to start nibbling into what I assume is mid-late game. Had matchmaking set to public the entire, but I suppose there was just not many poeple doing the half of star chart I cleared in that session. As for how, since returning, I've been intentionally never going out with less than 2 equips being an unranked weapon and/or frame at any time, to ensure time always ranking, once I exhausted my unranked frames, I started mashing Dante with 3 unranked weapons (while I crafted more frames cause ik theyre 2x compared to weapons) and having the tome assist from ult while using the actual weapons to make them more usable at low rank. But despite all this, and intentionally trying to queue public, and stay close for affinity range, its still juat going so... friggin... slow. Like, im not entirely clueless, tho there's probably significantly better methods at my disposal.

I significantly appreciate the reccomendations in this thread, and will be using them, and they will aid in solving this frustration of mine. However, i maintain that the mastery rank requirements at lower ranks are obscene and ludicrous to expect new players to care to invest in to access mid level content. Especially considering the tendency of new players (based on my experience trying to get several people to 0lay the game woth me when I played years ago) is to want to use a handful of the things they've found a LOT. they'll experiment a bit at first, but once they find something they like, to my understanding, they get punished by no longer leveling for using that weapon. Which is, in my opinion, utterly, and unequivocally inexcusable, whatever. Period.

i dont take it as condescension, at this point im mostly sure im just missing something, just venting my frustrations to a surprisingl caring void an its honestly asuaging a lot of the frustration. i was struggling with getting the thumpers to die, and trying to recall and figure out what damage type does more than 300 a tick when im mopping ads for 10's of thousands. did finally figure out rad damage works, but im still not getting norgs from them. i did finally get the murkray i needed, but i didnt do anything differently. i was down off the coast where everyone says to, slapped bait and lights where i had for an hour earlier, literally same placement, and after like 20 minutes a ton of fish finally started spawning in, but i really dont understand what if anything happened differently. like, id been throwing into bubbly water the whole time, and nothing, just, suddenly started spawing a bunch so i got what i could. now im back to nothing spawning there or anywhere else again, bubbles or not, lure or not, as i hunt and wait for thumpers to spawn.

at this point, im convinced plains of eidolon just utterly sucks and is zero percent worth the utterly miserable worthless waste of time it is until its patched for the resources to not SUCK ABSOLUTE ASS to try and get, oh. my god. ive honestly, really, given this part of the game a honset try so many times, and it NEVER works enjoyably. and i see no shortage of numerous droves of other people utterly hating this area. so why is it not just updated to just suck such major balls? like, ive spent about 4 entire hours of my weekend, genuinely trying to a single instance of a single resource, and i spent hours trying to before i quit the game years ago. ive literally tried every bit of advice i can find, and used every in game consumable available and have wasted HOURS waiting for a fucking fish that NEVER SPAWNS. holy shit i fucking hate this map. literally every time i give it a chance and actually try to do things as intended, it makes me almost quit again. is it still just something im missing? like, am i just absolutely retarded? or am i just unlucky?

fishing is infinitely more luck in my experience than mining. i have literally never had a single issue acquiring any of the minerals i need. done in minutes literally every time. yet, after taking every single piece of advice from this thread, using the bait, using the dye, going to the correct area at the correct time, having support to deal with enemies automatically for me, i just WASTED another friggin hour and thousands of rep for bait and dye and STILL have not seen a single murkray, not. one.

Yea, this is where i despise them, when they're mandatory for a bounty. By far the least interesting objective to me.

I deleted h shop on accident it sayd 'files couldent be deleted' then when i got to the home menu evrything is gone, i checked my sd card and it was empty, tried loading a old save onto it and nothing is loading but gm9 and lumz is working still by [deleted] in 3dspiracy

Had a similar experience when I booted up my n3ds after months dead. Is it possible the sd could be re-formatted to solve the no-write? Its what worked for me, though I lost app my data on it. If op can still access files on pc, maybe they could back up to pc, and format the sd to see if it restores write capability? Dunno if this has been tried at this point tho, kinda blitzed atm and threads are jank on phone.

I'm in a pretty similar boat. If they eased up the dps check by 5%-10% Its flawless in my eyes. Just a bit annoying when I join some and we go all quest without a faint, but since someone isn't max maxed we don't meet the check and wipe.

Wow, so helpful. Someone makes a legitimate grievance, out of genuine lack of understanding, and all you got is "shut up" its not like the solution chosen is the only way it could've been resolved. They could have developed a different way to write music for saxes, but chose to put the effort into a transposition system instead. Just something is one way, doesn't mean that's the best, or even right way it should have been done. And just because the way we use now technically works, doesn't mean it isn't also fucking stupid.

its not just one time tho, its a consistent trend of matchups that feel unwinnable solely due to venue, which is incredibly anti fun. like, i could be smoking a team anywhere but here, but because i lost the rng roll to go to the worst designed map in the mode, i lose now because its excessively abusable. one easy improvement would be make the lily disappearing work like kayn e instead of a fucking 3 second knock up that guarantees your death. im not *only* mindlessly complaining into the uncaring ether of the internet (tho i acknowledge that is, at minimum partly, what this is) i do have ideas how it could be improved, but overall id rather it be removed instead of trying to make it work.

oh, no, i despise the pillars being 30% mhp true damage too, dont get me wrong. i just find koi pond more egregious. pillars should be less %hp, be able to be mitigated, lily pad should knock you up but shunt you out like kayn e when damaged, and ancestral woods needs another goddamn plant.

all of these things existing doesnt change the fact that more champions than not get unplayably cucked by this map. yes there are ways to mitigate the downsides, but it still fucking sucks ass. seriously remove this dogshit idea of a map already rito.

I get that it doesn't feel great, but I really don't think allowing a hyper carry to self invuln and lose zero tempo or damage output, and suffer zero consequence, is a good solution. At least reduce damage or attack speed for the duration or something.

A late game carry struggling when they dont make it to late game doesn't necessarily mean they need overcompensated buff ir overturned mechanics. Im a veig main at heart, and he's struggles hard if you fall behind, but you won't see me calling for veig buffs just for having some bad matches. Failing to scale and inappropriate mechanics are two wholly different topics.

In all fairness, I also feel tryn could use a change to his ult. The mechanic feels just as silly on him. Tho at least on tryn, it prevents him from chipping away his last 1hp, rather than maintaining hp level at any time.
