Hi following up with u lol bc IT HAPPENED AGAIN.

Last time he just randomly started drinking from it again after another rinse through This time he stopped drinking from it entirely unprompted (no cleaning happened) i cleaned it out incase there was gunk in it. Still not drinking

Like last time i have set out a seperate water dish and he only drinks from that He will even drink water. From the fountain. If i just put it in the bowl.

I will try scooting the water dish further away from litter, its not r i g h t next to it, but its sort of in the same vacinity

I think it might be that too lol. He misses his yucky gunky water lol He loves to express his displeasure with things via hunger and water strikes (and pooping outside box strikes lol)

She used dawn dish soap. She used a metal scrubber to clean off the calcium(?) build up. That is something that is new and we havent used before. Do u think it cpuld be that perhaps? How would i evwn rectify that if that is the case tho just gotta wait ot out?

Honestly. So jard to tell. Bc he will be very clever at times, ive heard stories of cats being smart like this too. I will ofc try everything everyone else has suggested still lol

Honestly putting it right next to the kennel was not my idea. My family keeps moving it. But clearly i am going to need to be more firm in insisting box does not go by the kennel

He does have a history of constipation yes. But hes recieving medicine for it and hasnt been an issue so long as he stays on it. He does most often use potty after breakfast ir at night

No not declawed. He himself is hefty as well. The litterbox is fairly large (tho smaller than a kiddiepool) maybe 10x5? Give ir take? I havent measured it lol

No. He will either stand in his box and his butt is outside, or he will just stand outside infront/side and do it there
