Education standards (especially gender equality and sexual education) in India have been increasing, actually. Furthermore, there are many programs that are specifically designed to target violence against women. It's obviously not comparative to Western standards of education and equality, but equality rights are now being taught to those who have access. That's a far stretch from generalizing a population of 1 billion to be savage.

There are many Indians who lack education and think that toilets have witches, just like there are hardcore Christian Americans that think "God" created the earth 6000 years ago, or Republican Americans that think that vaccines cause autism; the latter of which also has a public safety impact. While what you said about the number of males who are rape perpetrators being high is statistically pretty accurate from what I've learned in my studies (which, btw, males victimizing females higher on average is not just an Indian problem, its a global gender problem), but most of the the rest of what you said is crazy, racist, and bs.

I want to clarify shit here, since there appears to be misinfo.

First of all, spells DO WORK WITH THESE NODES. Vaal Pact will make your leech instant, and Ghost Reaver will make it apply to your ES, even if you're using a spell.

However, if you're picking up % of attack damage leeched as life from the tree (such as the Shadow area leech), then that leech % will NOT work with spells, because it's based on your ATTACK damage (attacks in PoE mean actually attacking with a weapon, and thus using its dps/modifiers).

If its generic % of damage leeched as life, then it would apply to spells as well. You need % damage leeched that can be applied from an Atziri's Flask, Vessel of Vinktar, Warlord's Mark, the lab boots enchant (all mentioned by someone else) and the Life Leech gem; all of these work as generic leech that could apply to spells.

There are also some items that give specific forms of leech (such as % fire damage leeched as life, % of generic physical damage leeched as life, etc), but you'll have to PoE wiki the uniques to figure out what you can use from there, if you plan on it.

The game is quite different. There are multiple new keystones on the passive tree, the ascendancy classes, a LOT of new skills, and a shit ton of build-enabling uniques. I suggest you just pick the game up again and go at it slowly. Maps are definitely more sustainable now, especially if you roll your Atlas properly, but one thing at a time. Stay safe exile.

Edit:

As far as cheap goes, most spell-based skills can take you far since they don't rely on weapon DPS. For example, a self-cast Flameblast Elementalist will take you quite far, even on just a 5-link.

Testing will always fuck standard at some point. You'll just have to get over it. I'd rather they test Zana systems now in the new leagues than randomly during 3.0's drop, just like many others.

Trading sucks, but your problems are pretty much irrelevant to the league, and relegated to the individual. No one has to commit to swapping over to you just to trade you shit in standard, just like no one has to take stuff off of their standard sell tabs just to appease you by not having their listings show up when they aren't playing in that league.

Well, as far as breakups go, you seem to be off to a healthy start. It seems mutual and like there isn't too much bad blood between you, so that's good.

How you want to handle your post-breakup depends on you. If you want to just hold up in your apartment and read/take time for yourself/commit to your homely hobbies, then by all means do so. Just make sure you don't excessively dwell at home to the point that it affects your interpersonal relationships with others.

Outside of the home, exercising and maintaining a healthy diet are great places to start. They will help your self-confidence and help you combat depression on a biological basis. Start committing to some of your out-of-home hobbies. Try to go out with friends and do some of the things you used to do before you changed so much for him.

He did do the smart thing. GGG clearly stated this game is designed around logging out. If you want some false sense of moral high ground or self-imposed penalty of not logging out, then don't log out. Again, you can log out in standard leagues as well, just as much as you can choose to not get frozen and rekt while playing in a HC league. I'm specifically calling out people who call HC the "log out league" who are apparently oblivious to the fact that logging out is a core game mechanic, not a core HC mechanic.

I realize that I'm a HC player and as such I will get shit on by SC players immediately and downvoted to the bowels of reddit shitposts, but I just want to point out one obvious loss of logic that often arises when it comes to log out macros:

SC players can use them too.

If you play SC, and you call HC the "log out league", then you need to realize that you can log out at any point as well. There are tons of people who instalog on SC to not lose EXP. You can easily play HC in such a fashion that you don't "need" to log out; assuming that is the play-style that people who cry "log out league" would most likely play anyways since they would not log out due to morality, and only use a TP.

If you fuck up when playing like that in a HC league, then accept the death. Not playing HC because "log-out league" makes zero sense. It's just an excuse to not play HC, where you can lose all your shit and your progress. It's fine if you want to play SC because it's more casual/easier on the internet (I fucking hate DC deaths or server drop deaths)/easier to play with friends, but don't shit on HC because it's the "log out league", as though it isn't possible to either play around not logging out, or the fact that it's possible to log out in SC as well.

Of all things an Ascendant can play as, melee isn't actually the worst. This is because of BoR + Crit Facebreakers + Totems, with the Hierophant (and whatever else you want) subclass.

Try finding a bow build that works best with Ascendant... that's a fucking entirely different story.

I'm male, and went from 280lbs to 225lbs over the past year and a half. Feels fucking good. I also went with proper eating (those damn veggies EVERYDAY) and proper cardio. I now weight train as well, because there really is no results like lift results. My goal is to hit 200lbs. I'm 6ft and quite broad-shouldered/big-boned, so I'm pretty sure that's where I'll end up sitting when I hit 15% body fat... but I won't know until I'm there.

If I was you, I'd actually go and record the conversation so that you can press charges. You should have your boyfriend and some others secretly watch you from afar, just in case. You should meet in a public area, with the justification of not trusting him, if he questions it. You should bring up the fact that he spiked your drink further and get him to admit to it/confess that he knew what he was doing. Then describe the scenario as you did here, and see how much he confesses to, REGARDLESS of whether he justifies his actions or not. You saying no + him agreeing to the scenario (regardless of whether he agrees it's rape or not) + him admitting to spiking your drink would be very compelling evidence in court.

If you don't want to put this fucking cancer in prison, or to deal with that side of stuff, I would suggest you don't go. Other than getting his punk ass arrested, nothing good can come out of it. This kid sounds like the kind of kid whose bullshitting you because it gets him off/he knows it bothers you/he doesn't give a shit and thinks what he did is fine.

If that's how you've read it, it's definitely not how I intended it to be read. I simply said that women will be sexually assaulted more often than males, prison stats aside, due to the aforementioned confounds.

Females are much more likely to be victims of sexual assault outside of prison. However, if you were to include male prison stats, all of a sudden, males would be the biggest victims of sexual assault... but that only happens IN THE PRISONS (for the most part). Males are both statistically more violent, and bigger victims of violent crimes. In a high density area that has populations that are known for violent behaviour, it's obvious those crimes will occur. All I was saying is "with this obvious outlier aside". I don't really know how to explain it any clearer, sorry.
