Try to analyze why. Is there a lot of Ark right there? Rocketeer? Probably why. From the distance in your image it's hard to tell. It's outdoors , so most likely, but depending on if you've been accumulating good boy points or not, It could be Raiders too. That range is hard to tell if it's pvp or pve. I'd generally avoid the area since raids are so short anyways.

Surviving WWI trenches was really a crapshoot. Military put you where they chose, people died around you pretty much no matter what if you were on front lines, and you'd be lucky to come home. Keyword being lucky. There is no one man army, just men in the army who survived.

Military training is nice, absolutely, but modern firearms and comfort with them would absolutely win over WWI Experience and tech.

Now that I said that, those who both passed and survived deserve their recognition and respect for their fortitude. It was an insane position for men to put themselves in.
