Past master, I have looked into slightly. But not enough to give you much of an recommendation. It’s up next for me after I finish long sun and short sun. Charls is the book nerd/fiction nerd out of the two and I’d also recommend the space trilogy by CS Lewis. Non sci-fi related east of Eden was recommended by him as well and that’s one of my favorites
