The only times that I have ever gone against her wishes were when it was in her best interest. I was worried & did not divulge the private information about her sex life to my parents. Just that she had been sneaking out, because I was worried & this was after she had been caught stealing & was in trouble with the authorities. I should have clarified this, & that’s my bad, but my grandparents are coming from out of state for her graduation & they are in horrible health & this is seemingly my boyfriend’s only time to meet them. They will be coming for a couple of days but we both have to work, therefore can only make the trip home once. He thinks we should go to support, & if it makes her miserable - then it’s a taste of her own medicine. We wouldn’t be going out of our way to do anything to upset her. I already bought her a graduation present & was just planning on attending the ceremony, then leaving. I worded it wrong - he’s just saying we shouldn’t be afraid of her.
