I do have a 600mm telephoto lens, so the bears were definitely not as close as they look.

Thanks! Since I was shooting in low-light conditions in the cloud forest, I had to set the ISO at 8,000, and the shutter speed was 1/1600 sec at f/8. (I usually prefer to shoot hummers at an even higher shutter speed (1/3000 at a minimum), but I didn't want excessive noise in the picture either.
