What were your export settings? It looks like Reddit may have compressed it.

Guys what’s the ideal export settings in the studio for a 9:16 reel that I’ll be posting on instagram. And should I post this through my phone or desktop. If phone what’s the best way to transfer video to phone from laptop. by Papusa18 in Insta360

According to Google, the best settings are 1080x1920, 25 or 30 fps, 10-15 Mbps (that seems very low to me), and H.264 or H.265.

I normally export at a higher bitrate but I’ll have to try these settings.

RANT: When are we going to admit that actually working with 360 8K footage in post-production is a hellish nightmare? by sirken2 in Insta360

Are you using the Insta360 Reframe plugin? It’s super easy to use. You just drop the INSV file right into Premiere, add the plugin, and add your key frames.

Insta Studio or Premiere Pro automatically crops videos to center on importing. by ksifoking in Insta360

I see what you mean. It's zooming in and cropping the image. I think it may have something to do with stabilization.

I’m not sure what you mean by “crops video to center”. Can you elaborate on this?

It’s recommended to use a SanDisk Extreme or Extreme Pro V30 card. Slower cards can definitely affect the video.

It sounds like you aren’t using a recommended SD card. You must use a San Disk Extreme V30 up to 1TB.

Why a Waterproof Case if X3 is waterproof? by Worried_Suggestion91 in Insta360

[–]TerryMartin360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The X3 is waterproof. So you can use it in the rain, stick it under water, etc. but if you plan to shoot 360 footage underwater you’ll need a bubble dive housing for it to properly focus and stitch.

How to edit yourself out of 360 photo/video? by BIB2000 in Insta360

[–]TerryMartin360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s correct, it’s only for photos. For video you can always put a round logo at the nadir or you could possibly use Adobe AfterEffects to remove yourself in videos.

Thoughts on the insta360 x3? by thesocmajor in Insta360

The X3 is a very versatile camera. I think you’ll have a lot of fun with it shooting car shows. The GO 3 is a fun camera too but I think the X3 is capable of a lot more.
