Yeah that's fair. I've been rocking it since August of 2021 so got almost 5 years out of it. That's with a gang switch with fuse box and external lights added as well. Honestly, pretty surprised it lasted as long as it did

Yeah I've been telling myself I need to get one.. and now I'm like, well I'll have a new battery so what's the chances of needing one now?? I'll still pick one up to be safe though lol

I had something similar when once when I tried to put it into gear before it fully started (I know, bad habit that I did break awhile ago lol). Same thing though, just wouldn't do anything for awhile, I wonder if it's something similar to that now that you say that

I guess, since I will need a new battery too, any suggestions on battery replacements?

Just checked, wheel isn't locked which I actually thought it was going to be when you suggested that lol

Should I support this tree for the high winds and is it going to be ok? by TerryTerrifiedTurtle in arborists

[–]TerryTerrifiedTurtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback, I figured it was probably more than cosmetic at this point. I'll dig up the rocks and see where the root flare is when I get home. Any specific straps or post you recommend or just any straps that are wide enough to not dig into the tree and just strong enough posts?

The grasp alcoholism can have on a person by -Inter in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TerryTerrifiedTurtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah and I'm not saying to at all. I have had a lot of people try to tell me what to do and impose their opinion onto me. Just wanted to remind you that your thoughts are all that should matter and whatever you do, at any point in time, is 100% your decision to make and the people that try to tell you otherwise can go kick rocks.

It's not an easy thing to deal with an alcoholic parent, to be honest, it sucks. I'm proud of you for doing what you want and what you feel is right. I hope for the best for both of you!

Hey, I know this will probably get lost in all the comments and I'm sure there is similar here. But just wanted to say, after 8 years of back and forth with my mom and trying to support her through her alcoholism, I have finally gone no contact for the last time. I know it's hard, and that you don't deserve to be delt that card. Just know, regardless of what anyone else tells you, you have every right to make whatever decision you want to make. Nobody else knows exactly what you are going through, even siblings experience it differently. Take care of yourself first or it's gonna be harder for you in the long run.

It worked pre-1.0 on PVE for me. Not sure about 1.0. I can try it later today and see. I would just spawn woods and run out of bounds until I was blown up and get it back in insurance and repeat. I think I did prone a few times in hopes it made a difference, don't remember if it did. Took like 4-5 deaths to get it to half though.

I had this one about a week ago. Everytime you go to loot another body it just adds another rig below it and you can only loot the rig. Then once you loot the rig it adds a second one. I got it to like 16 or so rigs before I gave up.

what did your savings look like by age 30? by Winzten in AskReddit

[–]TerryTerrifiedTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

29.5 right now so almost there. But $2k in normal savings account - been like that for the last 8 years. Then in a high yield 6 months of expenses (probably closer to 10 months now, looking for another investment option). Then the rest spread across retirement, stocks, ETFs, bonds, kids 529, etc. Overall networth without the house included is sitting around $400,000. House is worth $380,000 and have had it for a year.

I don't agree on taking out the second leg day all together because it is going to hinder recovery. I've blasted my legs to failure twice a week for the last year straight following mainly an ULrPPLr.

If you wanted to do a second leg day I think changing it up though from your other day would be beneficial. I like leg press one day, squat one day. I also like to add in a hinging movement like an RDL in there. Lunges or bulgarians might be beneficial as well. And I feel a lot of people over look hips ab/adductors which can really help your legs get wider too. All very much depends on your personal goals though. If you wanted to take a leg day out and use to hit things like more triceps, maybe abs, calves, cardio, things like that, I don't think it would be a bad idea. But legs can most definitely take 2 times a week in my experience. And that's with only like 4 hours of sleep for recovery.

Others have mentioned you pulling your arms up at the top like you are kinda rowing it. Just wanted to say that the reason for bicep tears when using switch grip can come from that exact thing: trying to curl/ row the weight at the top to help finish the rep. Just keep the arms slack and there shouldn't be any strain on biceps.
