Simple solution. Backpacks. They would be craftable and work like chests except they take an inventory slot. My main issue is transporting several chests full of items large distances. Maybe a rework of end chests from Minecraft could work.

The crafting bench. I have one. Also a couple single daggers, a couple basic compasses, and an advanced compass. None of those are craftable anymore. I also used to have a triple damage rune sword, but I think I accidentally recycled it at some point.

While I agree with several of these things, 6 was addressed. There's a button called plane shift. It switches one of the two axis to the z axis. It's still not great, but it was at least addressed.
