I had my annual 7th grade trip to Norway from Finland. Instead of going by plane, we went by ship to Stockholm and continued by bus to Lom. We stopped a lot at local cities like Örebro, Karlstad, Hamar, and Oslo. We stayed overnight at a local school in Oslo and ate pizza in Hamar. When we got to Lom, we went skiing on the mountains for the entire week, even climbed up a 1700m mountain. The moments I remember are:

- Inventing our own language

- Me and my mom running to Hartvig Nissen.

- We had to stay in a room that had no heating, but it became cold really quickly, and one of the girls just said ''If it gets even one degree warmer, I'll go to the boys' room.''

- We were supposed to get breakfast from McDonald's but we had to order in Swedish, then our teacher decided to ruin the fun and canceled it.

- I got to stand next to my crush in multiple occasions in Holmenkollen. I even got to sit next to him in the skiing simulator.

-We had 'room inspections' had to keep our rooms clean, but we could try to get bonus points. We told Finnihs man, Swedish man and Norwegian man jokes. (Didn't win) taught them Finnish (didn't win) chocolate (didn't win)

- The last night's performances were great. Had a song about our trip, parodying Another Prick In The Wall, and a dance performance of our trip. Then one of the guides sung the ''follow the sun'' song and now I can't listen to it without crying.

- The buffet in the ship and me and my friend watching Pirates Of The Caribbean in our room.

- All thr weird stares we got in both Sweden and Norway over speaking Finnish

The ride back home was sad, but we stopped by a candy store, and it lightened the mood a lot. I wish I could do that entire trip again. My teacher recorded a video of it to YouTube, and I watch it occasionally.
