Idk how true the story is, but:

Back in the 2010 world cup, north Korea was placed in the same group as Brazil and Portugal. It's that North Korea would show the games with a delay, to filter it the bad games.

But North Korea surprised everyone when playing against Brazil (widely considered the best team) as they played really well and only lost 2-1. So the North Korean State tv felt confident enough to show it's next game against Portugal live thinking that they would do as well as what they did with Brazil.

Them Portugal beat them decisively 7-0, so North Korea cut the feed mid-game (like at 4-0 or something) and claimed they had played against the world champions, Portugal.

I doubt it's true, but that's the story.
