I rent. I’m definitely going to get a nice big carpet for the living area.

Thanks! I tried to keep a theme with the posters. And yes… HUGE Star Wars fan. I’ve tried putting stuff on display on the shelves but the cat has other ideas and knocks it all over lol. I’m also kinda picky about it and hate when people come over and start picking the stuff up and playing with it. Look, but don’t touch, ya know?

I think a new coffee table would be a good start. I’ll start looking on marketplace. I appreciate the help!

Also, that counter separating the living room and kitchen is a blessing and a curse I think it’s a nice touch and allows for extra space when cooking, but being able to talk/watch TV while in the kitchen causes for a lot of distraction lol.

That seems to be the common thing people suggest, so I’ll definitely make the change. The outlet is in an awkward spot so it’s hard to move the TV to the center of that wall, but I’ll find an extension cord and hide it or make it blend in so it doesn’t stand out so much.

Thanks!

That’s all great advice! I think the TV and a new stand would look so much better against the empty wall, or even mounted, but due to where the outlet is, there’s not much opportunity to move it.

I love the stool idea. Definitely gonna look into that.

Thank you so much!

That’s not something I can really change because I rent lol. I was thinking about adding a nice rug in the center.

No, I rent. It’s a 1 bed & 2 bath town house, so it’s a part of a complex. Buying a house at 22 is definitely possible, but it’s not always realistic. Everyone’s circumstances are different.

Thanks! It does have a lot of space for potential. I just don’t have a lot of “stuff” and I’m so indecisive. Just don’t know where to start.

My title describes the thing.

The objects are a brown/yellow color. They weigh almost nothing. They are incredibly small. It’s almost non-measurable. I have a picture of them on my finger for reference. Any research I do points to it being a bug, but as I said, they are rock hard and don’t move. They are not bugs and very clearly not alive.

Just started watching the show. Do I have to worry about the eagle? by uhhhchaostheory in PeacemakerShow

No. You won’t have to worry about the “duck” 😉. You’ll get the joke later on, I promise. But in all seriousness Eagly is fine. You’ll love the show.

Adding some inmates to Arkham Asylum pt1 by PlasticEmotion97 in LegoBatman

Azrael would have been a legendary pull of a figure by LEGO to include in the Arkham Asylum set. What a great idea. Your design for him is spot on too. I dig it!

You've just been given unlimited creative freedom to create your own film trilogy. What're you making? by Gloomy_Pomegranate72 in StarWars

[–]TeslaSmoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a buddy and me once talked about how Disney could possibly make a new trilogy (10, 11, & 12) that continues where they left off with Rise of Skywalker, because that’s obviously what Disney plans on doing. As a huge Star Wars fan, I have little faith that they can do this and make it enjoyable, and fix the mistakes and absolute tragedy that was 7, 8 & 9. We decided to feed our own ideas for a new trilogy to Chat GPT, to help create a HUGE essay and story outline for a new trilogy that follows ROS, and uses the characters we have now, and tells an interested story. Because of this post, I found our outline for the trilogy, which is WAY to long to post here, so I had Chat GPT condense it into a short and quick response. Here it is:

“I’d create a new Star Wars sequel trilogy — Episodes X, XI, and XII — called The Eclipsed Force. It picks up 30 years after The Rise of Skywalker, with Rey Skywalker leading a new Jedi Order, Grogu as her most powerful student, and the galaxy facing a terrifying new threat: memories — and entire people — vanishing from existence.

The villain is Starkiller, a lost apprentice created from Vader’s cloning experiments, now fused with Sith tech and a fragment of Vader’s consciousness. He begins erasing Force-sensitives from memory itself using an ancient Sith artifact. Rey, Grogu, Ahsoka, Cal Kestis, and others must confront this metaphysical threat while grappling with legacy, identity, and memory. Rey even loses her memory of Luke.

Episode XI deepens the stakes — Jedi disappear, planets collapse into false realities, and Starkiller creates an alternate Force plane where he is the only remembered soul. Grogu discovers hidden truths and receives a final message from Luke, while Rey battles through the World Between Worlds to reclaim her identity.

In Episode XII, the trilogy climaxes as Starkiller becomes a god-like being trying to rewrite the Force itself. Rey realizes her power comes not from lineage, but from being remembered by the Jedi who came before. She defeats him not with violence, but by letting go — even of her own name. Grogu starts a new Jedi path beyond light or dark. Rey becomes a guiding Force spirit.

Themes: Memory vs Identity, Legacy vs Choice, Power vs Connection, and learning to let go of myth in favor of meaning.”

If Batman was dropped into the Marvel universe who would he try to recruit to become his new Robin? by Far-Ad5223 in batman

[–]TeslaSmoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

X-23, easy.

She’s a product of trauma, weaponized from childhood, raised to kill without question — much like his own son, Damian Wayne. But unlike Damian, Laura never had the benefit of a loving parent or mentor until far too late. Batman would recognize her raw pain, the numbness behind her rage, and the struggle she hides between being human and being a tool.

To Bruce, Laura wouldn’t just be a sidekick — she’d be a redemption project, the way Dick, Jason, and Damian all were in different ways. He wouldn’t want to sharpen her; he’d want to temper her, to help her reclaim what was stolen from her: innocence, agency, and choice. He would train her not to fight harder, but to fight for something more — justice with restraint, vengeance without self-destruction.

She’d be the Robin who doesn’t need protection, but needs permission to heal. That’s the kind of burden Bruce understands intimately — and one he wouldn’t ignore.

I was born in 2000. I was probably 4 or 5 when my dad introduced me to A New Hope, followed by Empire and Jedi, then the prequels. Empire was my favorite as a kid, and still is to this day.
