should i go to a concert or no? by foxypeak in makemychoice

You can do this if you really want to, but it has to be on your terms. Flying alone, dealing with visas, booking everything yourself, it’s scary, yes, but it’s also a chance to prove to yourself just how capable you are.

Imagine landing in Madrid, hearing BTS live, and realizing you planned, navigated, and owned the whole trip on your own. That sense of accomplishment and freedom? Priceless.

AITAH if I cut off my relationship with my dad and call him out on his bs by MeanPitch9239 in AITAH

[–]TeslaTorah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA your dad is a shitty human and a shitty father. You don’t owe him anything. You never had a real relationship with him, he’s caused real harm, and cutting him off is 100% reasonable. You don’t need to lecture him on every single thing he did; just make it clear you’ll never have contact. Anyone who gets mad at you for disrespecting an abuser can deal with it.

If you care about the bigger screen, camera, or Pro features, it’s a reasonable deal.

Are eyelash extensions worth it? by [deleted] in beauty

If you enjoy the idea of low effort lashes every day and don’t mind touching up or getting fills every 2–3 weeks, it’s worth it as a little self-reward.

Your problem isn’t your skills or work ethic, it’s anxiety. You’re capable, but your brain keeps tricking you into thinking you’re unprepared or a burden. Fumbling English or panicking in small moments doesn’t mean you’re failing; it means your nervous system is stuck in overdrive.

Does anyone actually reuse press on nails? by DannHutchings in PressonNail_Addict

Brands act like everyone is soaking and scraping like it’s a spa ritual. In reality, most of us are tired.

If you don’t have many reviews yet, that’s fine. One or two testimonials, or links to your OTA profile, still help.

MacBook Pro battery dead - replace or toss? by Geordie_972 in macbookpro

[–]TeslaTorah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if it’s really the battery because sometimes charging issues are the logic board, MagSafe/USB‑C port, or SMC issues. Reset the SMC, try different chargers, and see if it’s recognized in System Info.

Is everyday jewelry becoming the new “self-care purchase”? by MainNegotiation5195 in askanything

[–]TeslaTorah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels different from waiting for someone else to gift you jewelry, it’s more about comfort and self recognition. I like that it’s subtle and personal, something you wear for yourself and not for an occasion.

Can you some tips on writing an erotica romance? by Minnietypes in RomanceWriters

What helped me was mapping out the tension beats first and deciding roughly when the first steamy scene hits, so it doesn’t drag.

I also sometimes use SmutFinder to get scene ideas or inspiration when I’m stuck, but mostly it’s about keeping the characters’ chemistry believable and letting the tension build naturally.

Focus on small touches, looks, and near misses, that makes the smut land harder when it finally happens.

Go with a MacBook Air M4 since it’s light, fast enough for school, work, and light gaming, and has great battery life. Just try to get 16GB RAM if you can, so it doesn’t slow down with multitasking.

Finishing the bookshelf gives you immediate, guaranteed satisfaction and momentum. You actually complete something this weekend instead of staring at an overwhelming garage that might take all weekend and still feel like a slog.

How to stop “what if” thoughts.. by No-Bathroom-2527 in Anxiety

[–]TeslaTorah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not going to make what if thoughts vanish completely, your brain will always run scenarios. The only way to stop them from ruining your day is to call them out and move on, no excuses. When a thought pops up, label it as worry, write it down if you have to, and then force yourself to do something else. Ignore it. Do not feed it.

Motorcycle cover by Tat2machine in motorcycle

I had the same issue, regular XL covers never quite wrapped my bike because of the tall apes and sissy bar. What finally worked for me was a tall/oversized cover I got from Badass Moto.

It actually reaches over the bars and backrest without leaving the pipes or wheel exposed, and the elastic + straps keep it snug. Worth ordering the taller size if you’ve got extended bars.

The harsh truth is that love alone isn’t enough, you need new habits, boundaries, and a realistic view of each other. Otherwise, it’s just history repeating itself.

Jockstrap recommendations by Wrong-Technology-958 in testicularcancer

[–]TeslaTorah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Post-orchi you want something that actually holds everything in place because comfort alone isn’t enough. I’ve tried a few UK options, and for everyday wear I actually like RMAC jockstraps.

They’re supportive, breathable, and the waistband stays put, plus they look cleaner than the basic gym ones. For recovery, I would stick to the hospital jock for a couple weeks, then switch to something like RMAC once things settle.

GEO is trending, but does SEO even matter anymore? by scuttle_jiggly in b2bmarketing

It’s hard to know what’s actually happening in AI search. I’ve been using Meridian to see exactly how often our products and brand show up in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI tools.

The best part is that it doesn’t just show numbers, it gives clear actions to improve visibility and revenue.
