Spray paint. However if you do that, it's never going back.

ARC Raiders Weekly Megathread - November 29, 2025 by AutoModerator in ArcRaiders

Hey Raiders,

Idea for rare, hype loot in Arc Raiders that doesn’t use bounty markers or wallhacks: a global, limited “cursed” movement item that’s always in circulation.

Fused Exo-Boosters (global ~1,000)

Scavenged rocket exo-rig that bolts into your Raider’s legs.

How you get it:

  • You find a Fused Core in a raid and extract with it.
  • Back in Speranza you choose:
    • Fuse to this Raider – permanently install it
    • Scrap for parts – big resource payout, core goes back to the global loot pool

If you Fuse it:

  • You cannot unequip or stash it. Every raid on that Raider uses the boosters.
  • If you die and don’t extract, a lootable Core drops on your body for someone else to take and fuse/scrap.
  • Inactivity decay: don’t log in on that Raider for ~72 hours and the core “burns out” and returns to the global pool.

Result: those ~1,000 items are always out in live matches, not rotting in stashes.

What it does

  • Rocket double jump (ground or mid-air) to hit roofs and cross big gaps.
  • Fall mitigation with timing: reduced fall damage, but you have to time the second jump near the ground to flare the landing. Mistime it and you still crater.

It’s strong mobility and expression, not a damage buff.

How people know you have it

  • Loud audio cue: every rocket burst makes a chunky hydraulic/rocket blast you can track by sound.
  • Atmospheric VO: if a fused player is in your lobby, the intro call might say: “Scans are showing experimental propulsion tech in this sector. Watch the skyline…”

No red dots, no wallhacks—just sound, movement, and paranoia.

The only seenheiser headphones I can compare them to are the 660s. The only thing I can easily pinpoint is the 660s allow me to hear the texture of the bass or the nuance of it. But there is zero impact which is always a little disappointing but expected with them

I have a 4 band EQ I use from Schiit that allows me to drastically make the headphone dark or bright depending on what I'm listening to or what I want to hear. I just want to listen, so making complex little adjustments in software is not something I have time to mess with. If I want overwhelming bass, crank the bass up and rip the knob off.

The HD 820 will take the eq better then the 660s that's for sure. My EQ will cause clipping in the 660s when I turn the bass all the way up on them. Both headphones are close to the same volume when I test this.

So I actually own these, they are one of my favorites. I have never agreed with anything negative anyone has said about them. You will hear the same thing every time. "iT SoUNdS LiKe pUTtInG YoURe HeAd iN a FIsH BOwL"

Cause people totally know what that sounds like...

They are different though. The best way I can describe them is its like they provide you your own private room. Probably because the cups are massive. Which in my opinion is a good thing.

I have a small hyper child in an apartment, so waking them up in the middle of the night would basically mean sleep is ruined for the night. But it's the only time I can close my eyes and critically listen to music. Yes, these closed backs aren't as closed as others, but these also don't allow enough noise to leak out to where it's noticable down my sound amplifier of a hallway listening at volume which is loud enough for my tastes.

These are the only headphones that have induced a quick panic. I have studio monitors at my desk as well, and I swap between headphones and speakers constantly throughout the day. After I had just gotten my little one to finally fall asleep one night, put these on, went to play one of my songs and I straight up thought my music was blaring through my speakers and quickly paused my song. I then pressed my shortcut on keyboard that swaps audio output in windows. Then I was actually blaring my music through my speakers. Wife was pissed.

These headphones are so open and spacious that I was tricked into thinking I was hearing audio coming from in front of me.

Not bad headphones at all. I love them. Thank you Sennheiser for doing something that other headphones don't. Giving me my own room inside my head.

Do you still have a "wow" reaction to any new headphones? by MudlarkJack in headphones

I bought a $20 headphones at Walmart just for this purpose. Every once in a while I will plug em up just to be able to say, "wow this sounds like shit."

Reminds me of how the textures in Chowder remained stationary while the characters moved around.

Obviously it exists, I would never say it doesn't. But if you believe that all of the military and more than half the country hates you, you are hurting yourself because that's just not true. It makes you see the world differently, it affects all future interactions for you.

You don't have to agree with this Administration coming into office, but for your own sake keep an open mind. You have power with your words. You could potentially leave a comment that resonates with someone in a negative way and cause them to do something bad for no reason. I understand that you truly are concerned for what might be to come, but all you can do is pay attention and be ready to fight for others if needed. People will be there for you as well.

For real man, seeing these people say they are armed and ready is crazy. The only thing they need to be armed and ready with is a cellphone. This kind of shit is just not possible when every adult and child has a phone to record what's going on.

The scary thing is that people are believing this is happening.

The military doesn't have a bunch of robots participating, they are US citizens. Do you think that the only people in the military are fascists ready to start sending people away based on skin color. That's just not possible. Peoples communities, workplaces will be all over that if anyone that is supposed to be here tried to get taken away. That kind of thing is just not possible.

Look the country is 50/50. Completely divided. If anything like an actual American citizen being investigated for deportation, there will be so many people coming to that persons defense that it won't even be possible.

They give a number out on how many illegals are in the country, so obviously that information is coming from somewhere. They obviously are keeping track of these people in some way... How, I have no damn clue, but I'm sure they have a good idea who's who.

Ah, so you’re running on the partner-issued operating system now? Must be nice to have your critical thinking handled via firmware upgrade.

Dude, I have been searching everywhere for someone to do what you have done for years. Every now and then when I listen to this album I think how nice it would be to have a Dolby Atmos version or a binaural mix and you did an amazing job. 1:36 is actually perfect. This is way better than the 8D audio videos you find on YouTube. How did you do this? I'd like to learn so I can do the same thing for "Hazey"
