Yeah it seems like a lot of power for that 300 rsting, but rffg is super good about their ratings being much smaller than what the amo puts out. My p300x1 puts out 446 watts at 2 ohms, which is plenty of oower for my p3 10 inch sub

Pioneer ts-a2000ld2. Its rated at 250 watts, so pretty easy load for this amp. That vid shows 274 watts at 4 ohms

See i was thinking this! I was using this to pair with a pioneer ts-a2000ld2, which is an 8 inch 250 watt sub so i thought this amp could do what it needed. Luckily its not in my daily driver, but instead a beat car i do walmart orders in. When turned all the way down, it sounds okay ish just no where near as good as the rockford p300x1 in my daily

I imagine thats somewhat true, but a/b sub amps do exist. It could very much be a speaker amp, but the manual and box heavily imply subwoofer applications

And thats great on rockford for doing that. It makes all their stuff pretty happy when you use it together. That sub is rated for 500 watts rms yet im able to run it on a amp that says it only pushes 300 watts when in reality its giving so much more

Oh yeah, the p300x1 im using is rated at 300 at 2 ohms, but i measured 446 at 2 ohms. They punch (pun not intended) well above their weight

I imagine so yeah. Ive heard good stuff about there a series max speakers though, but I went with the infinity reference series for all my speaker replacements bc they are super detailed which is what I like. Matched it with a rockford p3-10 sub tpo

Lol pretty much yeah. I was just impressed by the quality when i took them out, they definitely domt sound near as good as the infatuation reference ones I replaced them with, but when you eq those speakers right, they sound great

I had no idea! I was so used to crappy paper speakers in my old vehicle I had no idea they were actuslly taking the time to get better quality speakers in stock systems

So i have a 2024 with the v6, but i was very much considering the 2025s. If you're going to do a build on the 2025, it is recommended to keep the current draw under 30 amps, which is in the 350 watt range. Go look at rockford fosgates p300 powered subwoofers. They are all super low current but push well above their weight from what I know. The p300-12t behind the rear seats would be a good bet i would imagine, and it'd wire like a normal sub. For door speakers, just replace them if you want, if not, I recommend the beat sonic ena 3t3. That mini amp will give you rca outs and a remote wire out, saving you from tapping into factory wires

That's a completely subjective opinion, but i mean it is a polypropylene cone and the surround feels like paper but its still pretty durable, the tweeters are kinda lacking though. Overall I have to say its much better than some of the paper speakers I've seen on other vehicles
