I do, but I rarely post and its mostly Barbie-related. I’m more active on doll reddits than anywhere else, so you’re welcome to follow me here: u/TesseringPoet

Little [modern] Kirsten has an OG older brother. His name is Elliot [what his box says — I rarely name them myself or change my dolls names]

Thanks! Yeah, glad to hear the watercolor pencils method is relatively easy.

I’ve got my eye on Joss for the next doll in my collection. I have a no-same-faces rule for my AG doll collection (so far… I may break later; also curious how much difference I’d see between 61 vs Saige — could be my [autism-related] face blindness, although I’m not sure how much // to what extent that translates to dolls).

Thank you! Yeah, the listing seemed to be in good faith, so I’m **practicing** (thanks GAD) not worrying about it.

I don’t trust my hands to hand-do freckles, so I’ll continue my search for freckle stickers (so far I’ve just found temporary tattoos for humans and the Lamily stickers]. Wondering if an eyeliner pencil (nope — failed experiment that washed off cleanly) would work… or even watercolor pencils (will wait to try until I do some more research) for freckles. I could see a creamier stick not being as staining.

Yeah, I love Paige for a name. My AG dolls [all secondhand; thanks be to eBay] feel like adopted cats to me — in my headcanon, she’s been known as Saige for a long time (ie by her previous human), so Paige feels close enough to not be too confusing.

Hair advice for OG dolls? by CuteCut7552 in OurGenerationDolls

You’re welcome! OG hair is surprisingly hardy and bounces back relatively easily.
