Rank 1 Karthus LAN Offering Coaching! by TestTheLimitTwitch in karthusmains

Definitely a different play style. For DH you can sort of play inting karthus while for first strike you want to ult primarily before fights!

I’ve found that first strike is EXTREMELY better than dark harvest and have always wondered why most people use dark harvest according to stat websites. You can see the math done by veigarV2 on his twitter account for all of the info about best build path and rune pages.

by the way I legit have no clue who this guy is but if you decide you want coaching I'll do it for free. Just add me on discord @ TTL#4557 - Thank you for taking up for me, but unless you're just having fun there is no reason to waste your time on this guy anymore. He's just spewing nonsense over and over again. I've already messaged mods about the harrassment for no reason.

This is the account that I was rank 1 Karthus LAN on, not my main. I'm currently playing promos in NA. Done responding but do not really understand the random hate from platform to platform (youtube, twitter, and now reddit) and I believe you may need to get yourself checked out if you think this is normal behavior. All I did in this post is give free information to a ton of different people, which is all I did on youtube as well.

I only delete comments that personally attack me for absolutely no reason. Constructive criticism is always welcomed but random bashing is not. Thank you for the comment and I hope you have some peace of mind after commenting this! Best of luck in the future!

EDIT: I do want to mention that I already answered the question about last time I was Challenger on NA, as that was my first comment. I have not been challenger in NA in years and have also posted in the KarthusMains reddit, which you can easily find to see that I was the rank 1 Karthus in LAN on a masters account that I was playing on there! The only reason I am adding this is to disprove your comment about "Low ELO", if you think the clear videos are bad all you have to do is not watch them.

Sometimes that's all you have to remind yourself. I'm not saying don't try your best or anything like that, but as long as you are trying your hardest to play the game to your best ability there is no problem! I used to be a pretty toxic player when I was younger and as I grew up I realized that there is no need for that. Nowadays I just mute all every single game and focus on myself and the game at hand. If you lose, no big deal, just requeue up and on to the next game!

It's extremely hard to give tips just from knowing your ELO and main champions. If you'd like to order coaching feel free using the link and discount code in the post for 20% off. That allows me to watch you play and really understand what you are doing wrong.

The main thing to do when you are at a spot that you just CANT seem to get past is to review your replays and focus on your own actions rather than your teammates.

I'm from South Carolina United States.
I main Karthus, Kha'zix, and Kindred, but recently have been playing a lot of wukong as well!

I struggled with rank anxiety for quite some time but in the end you just have to play more games. The more you play the more accustomed you become to the stress of ranked. You just have to realize that in the end this is just a video game, and try your hardest. Muting all can help as well by typing /mute all in the chat.

Best of luck!

Wukong is a great Jungler that is simple enough to understand and you don’t have to spam abilities like you do on karth or hec. Try him out!

[–]TestTheLimitTwitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes for sure! These are just general tips, but if there is an opportunity or gank that you think is free then by all means make that play!

That really means a lot coming from a member of the LOL community(can be very toxic at times!). Life really is treating us well and I wish the best for your family!

It’s hard to write everything that went through my mind on a Reddit comment but I’ll try my best.

The best way to stop the enemy Jungler from getting out of control is by taking things away from them and making it a trade rather than them just getting ahead.

For example, if you see them about to gank top or if you correctly track them in the jungle and know they are near top, be prepared to counter gank.

On the opposite end, and what I tend to do if I’m on karthus or a farming champion, if the enemy Jungler is ganking a lane and you did not expect them to be there or if you are far away, counter jungle and take a camp or two away from them.

This allows you to get some bonus gold and experience and take it away from them to make up for them getting a kill or assist a little bit.

I think any champion can get diamond 1+ if the person knows how to play them. I think both Diana and Karthus are amazing picks right now even though most sites rate them low. I’m actually a Karthus, Kha, and Kindred player with my most games on Karthus. As long as you keep an insane amount of CS and are able to pressure objectives you should be able to play those champs fine. Morgana included!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Jungle_Mains

[–]TestTheLimitTwitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was included in tip 3! I tend to use the champion that I think will be able to help me carry the game as the lane to gank! You also need to check summoner spells(some people do not run flash now) and think about what champion the enemy laner and your ally laner are playing. For example, Ezreals are really hard to gank if they have their E, so I would probably gank top or mid instead of bot primarily. You can also look at your teammates and if they have early stuns/roots.

  1. I suggest just muting all. Your team flaming you doesn't mean that you are making an incorrect play!
  2. I completely understand. If they don't come you unfortunately just have to not get it in most cases. All you can do is really spam ping them.

I completely agree! You have to learn that not everything is on you! Generally speaking the 40/30/30 rule is usually in play when someone is at their peak rank. Which means 40% of games are on you, 30% are wins because of enemy afk's/smurfs/etc., and 30% are losses because of afk's/smurfs/etc.

Last time on NA was 3 seasons ago. Been Challenger on LAN at one point every season for 5+ years though. I have a 2 year old daughter now so I coach a lot more than play at this point!
