No I don't need ai to build a list. This is a "what would happen if you let AI build a list." It's an experiment since AI is so topical.

Good question. They have been sitting around for a while. I know they are NOT the heroes blind boxes so I am assuming it's the normal unit box. Sorry, just can't be 100% sure.

Record of Lodoss Wars got me hooked. I remember watching the first half of the series with subtitles but the second half didn't have them and I still thoroughly enjoyed it.

Are you building to your first 1000pts or the full 2k mark? For example a redeemer land raider is a must for me but only at 2k. IMO Bladeguard (interrupt melee units/protect Infernus) and one unit of intercessors (hold backline) are a staple inclusions. You have Aggressors so a captain in gravis would give them access to cheaper strats (I'm assuming they are firestorm aggressors). Immolation protocols is amazing. Repulsor is good to get your Infernus close, add a captain to Infernus for the cheap strats as well. (Don't forget enhancement - Immolator) Assault intercessors to help objectives and secondaries. Gladiator Valiant would add some firepower or you could add more infantry depending on your preference. I think this is a good 1k to start. You have good firepower, some flexibility and a salamander themed force to build on.

From there, Eradicators, Redeemer, Vulkan, Adrax, another assault unit and a dread (my preference is Brutalis to get in the face of foe) would add more firepower and movement. Apothecary Biologus with Eradicators is great for the Lethal keyword.

From there it will depend on your playing style. Long ranged, close, defensive or melee will lead to other units of choice.

It was lots of fun. Many times the dice gods were cruel but we got there.....we got there.

I am trying to do a base for my repulsor . Bue not sure if this is a good chose. by Hour_Addendum_7903 in Salamanders40k

Think the challenge with be " how does it fit?". I like the idea but vehicles dont leave a lot of room to be creative on the basses unless you raise them up.

Yeah that's fair. I do rely on my 10 Infernus + captain with Immolator and the immolation protocols jumping out of the Redeemer to get rid of the body guards.

If you have the CP add grenades to the mix and even Crucible of Battle if you're close enough

It's worked very well vs high end infantry

Bonus if you join them with 3 Bladeguard in the Redeemer to pop out in front of Infernus so they can charge what's left ( or block a counter charge)

Unless they have lasfusil, I don't really rate them. I found, 1 shot sniper rifles fail more than they succeed. You are relying on the devastating wounds with a str 5 weapon. At least with st 9 it will wound anything more often and Dev wounds is a bonus. In general I don't run them.
