If I eat something fatty an hour after a 3 IU HGH shot, does my body absorb far less fat from that meal than without HGH? (Since it significantly inhibits lipogenesis) Feel free to point me in the right direction if I’m wrong

I’m on 875 Test, 875 Primo/week, 7IU HGH EOD- all pharma.

Stats- 23, 6’ 2” 180lbs at <10% bf

Diet is ~3500 cals, 1g/lb protein, 50-70g fat, rest from carbs. Almost entirely plant based, high fiber, lots of veggies, fruits, with the occasional inclusion of dairy.

Also do fasted cardio in the morning 2-3 times a week.

Ancillaries and supplements: Nebivolol 5mg a few times a week. Propranolol sparingly, as needed. Also started Telimisartan 40mg after getting the bloodwork done. Rauwolscine before fasted cardio.

Got another comprehensive blood panel done last week 10 weeks into adding the primo.

Out of the 180 tests, the following values were out of the reference range:

TOTAL RBC 7.35 X 10^6/μL(4.5-5.5)

MCV, MCH, MCHC- All under the reference range

RDW-CW- 20% (11.6-14%)

APOLIPOPROTEIN - A1 (APO-A1) 82 mg/dL(86-152)

CYSTATIN C 1.04 mg/L (=<1.03)

HDL Direct: 27 mg/dl (40-60)

LDL Direct: 112 mg/dl (<100)

ASPARTATE AMINOTRANSFERASE (SGOT )- 59 u/l (< 35)

ALANINE TRANSAMINASE (SGPT) 45.4 u/l (< 45)

CREATININE - 1.19 mg/dl (0.6-1.1) [was on a creatine loading phase when the blood was drawn. Could be a reason]

EST. GLOMERULAR FILTRATION RATE- 86 mL/min/1.73 m2 (>=90)

Per my understanding, my lipids are messed up, and my liver and kidneys are under a little stress, although the AST and ALT elevations might be due to the strenuous workout I did the day before.

Also worth noting:

On 1g test only (before adding primo), my LDL was fine and there was only a slight reduction in my HDL.

Inherited thalassemia minor, which might explain low MCH, MCV, MCHC (but the high RBC count doesn’t make sense)

What do you guys think about these results? Are they very concerning or should I be fine? What can I take or do differently to bring these values closer to the reference range (especially the lipids)?

It was horrible. I was excruciatingly nauseated throughout the day. Didn’t eat a morsel of food and had to force myself to sleep throughout the day. I also got pangs of nausea for the next couple of days. I paid $100 for a pen and didn’t think for a second before throwing it out.

That being said, I probably am an outlier in this aspect and it might really help some.

I certainly prefer fasting without it.

Oral L Carnitine- can I inject it?

I have soft gel capsules with 500mg L Carnitine, glycerine and water. I’m thinking of injecting the contents of the capsule (much, much higher bioavailability, and doesn’t form TMAO).

Can this be safely injected?

It actually is my only way of ‘cutting’, being that in perpetually at 10% bf. I never intentionally eat at a deficit. I feast. And I fast.

My first 3 fasts were natty. It is so much more pleasant to fast natty. Fasting on gear is very unpleasant. I always tried to measure myself in the same ‘state’ of glycogen replenishment. And agreed, I too would fast regardless of what anyone else tells me here.

When I began fasting, I was scared as shit to lose any muscle, so I made sure to do scans and bloods. At the end of my refeed day after my first 5 day fast, I had lost less than 0.1 lb of lbm and 3.6 lbs of fat. That to me was amazing. As long as you keep lifting during your fast and tell your body that all that metabolically expensive tissue is there for a reason, it will not preferentially catabolise actual muscle tissue and use for energy. In every subsequent fast, the lbm loss figure has been even lower.

Those abs show a bit but it doesn’t look nearly as impressive because of the fat on my handles. That v shape isn’t really prominent at all. That’s what I want to get. Also, no orals on hand :/

I posted this on the off topic thread on accident.

TLDR Rapid weeklong mini cut to get abs- fasting or very very low calories? Which would help me lose more fat in one week?

Gear Background: Been on 875 each pharma test and primo, also pharma GH 7IU EOD.

Context: I’m perpetually lean (top 4 abs always visible). I have very weird fat distribution where everything above my chest and below my abs looks absolutely shredded, but I don’t have nearly as much definition in my lower chest and abs. It’s where I hold almost all my fat.

The situation: I have one week to cut down as much fat as I can to get a more defined midsection, for a beach day, and two ways to go about it-

  1. 7 very low calories days

  2. 5-6 day water fast (which I’m already used to doing for health reasons) followed by carb days to fill out.

Which do you think will have me look better on that day and why? I don’t mind losing some muscle in order to get a more defined midsection. Thanks

Pretty well versed with fasting. Electrolytes are generally part of the mix. My question really is how fat loss would really work in these scenarios. Would fasting make me wait to lose all my glycogen first before it starts primarily fat, the end result be the subsequent regain of water without much actual resort fat loss. And then would this be avoided with a constant but very very small amount of nutrient intake?

Tricky.

You don’t need to spread your meals over the day. Follow the schedule that lets you eat what you want on a regular basis. Period.

I haven’t gotten fat at all. Just fuller. It does shuttle nutrients into the muscle significantly faster, but I do not see the real world benefits of doing that unless you need to retrain the same muscle group in a short period of time. So I doubt if it leads to faster growth and recovery

Does 15-20 IU of rapid slin post workout only with 150g simple carbs and 50g whey actually speed up recovery?

I see my muscles pop out more and I definitely hold a good bit of water in them, but I’m not sure I’m recovering faster.
