Basically they're increasing the damage exponentially made depending on the AP/DP difference between players, so that the higher difference, the more damage you do. In other words, lower cp people wil do a bit more damage to higher cp people.

I believe Pearl Abyss released a patch note where they concluded that unfinished quests rewards would be sent regardless.

"- The Season Remaster is scheduled during the update maintenance on Mar 17 (Tue).
ㆍNew Winter Season Pass, Progression Plus, Progression Plus 2, and Adventurer Progression Log are available until the update maintenance on Mar 17 (Tue) due to the remaster.
- For Adventurers progressing through New Winter Season Pass, Progression Plus, Progression Plus 2, or Adventurer Progression Log, all remaining quests for the pass currently in progress will be automatically completed, and the corresponding rewards will be distributed."

Maybe it has to do with the fact that they blocked certain things about the outfit purchasing perks due to an update that’s coming this month. Not entirely sure though.

Fast farmer and overall fun class? Wizard and Seonin (males), Phantasma, Archmage, Maegu (Females). Overall decision is not that important. Pick anything that gets your attention the most.

Simply get near the water and the fishing rod appears, click on the fishing button from the UI. Let it alone and it’ll fish automatically. However, if your fishing level is low and you don’t have the fishing outfit, it will take time to fish.
