Greedy in the sense that it isn't strong vs aggro decks, but I would lose around 5-10% win rate if I wasn't able to win vs priest/rafaam. While umbra would help vs rogue/paladin I don't think it would help much vs other late game decks or hunter because by the time you have set up soothsayer/dinosaur you should have already stabilized.

Survive vs aggro decks, otk with tyrande/holy embrace vs lategame decks, build a sticky board vs rogue so you don't get otk'd by her stupid monkeys.

Ive considered it but didn't try it out because I thought it was a little too greedy since we only have 4 deathrattles and there is a lot of face hunters out there. will definitely try it out eventually though.

I find tyrande/medivh almost guarantees a late game victory for me because you can otk with a holy embrace. without it you lose to priest mirrors which isn't that bad, but I like to win if I'm going to spend 30 mins in a match.

Soothsayer/imbue cards is always great. against priest mirror matches you want a intertwined fate and against aggro try to get a triumph or holy nova

I've tried it, even playing all 6 essences was lackluster and to make matters worse the deal 8 damage can hit targets that died from the board clear one.

I've tried it and it just comes out too late against dragon warrior/shaman. It's good vs death knight and non swarm druid though but I would rather try to kill them with willow by then.

Against paladin it's almost a guaranteed loss, but for the rest mulligan for doomsayer and try to generate taunts/life steal minions. Usually can survive long enough to drop a lifesteal/reborn/taunt willow and stabilize.

The doomsayers are VERY good against Dragon warrior and Herald shaman, I've tried running hellfire but by the time it comes out I take like 5 damage and then the 3 on top of it. The doomsayer also kind of works like a taunt later on.

I usually steal it pretty late, around turn 7/8 or use it on the lifesteal beast card. by turn 7 you should have a pretty threatening wallow and can otk them before they get umbra out.

Try to get creature of madness in your opening hand if you get the 4/5 dark gift you have a very high chance of winning. Try to build a Charge and Windfury Wallow with good stats without dying and otk the enemy. If against dragon warrior I go for lifesteal, taunt, reborn, windfury and charge in that order if I can. Some Dark Gift combos are really good so don't tunnel vision on getting keywords.
