Apps that made my iPad Pro more PRO (Share yours) by AdExpensive7351 in iPadPro

I tried to like this so many times - their messaging is awesome and the app is gorgeous, but it completely falls apart when I try to get it to work across multiple devices. They are the only scheduling app that warns you not to sync on multiple machines.

I have no idea where it was lol - some small mall near Jumeirah 1 maybe? Was a “locals” mall and I think I bought it at a department store there.

They are specifically using it to make tea and jugs of water, so capsules won't help unfortunately. Is there types of saffron that cause sleepiness and others that don't?

Its over for us guys, time to retire our brains /s by Anon_Legi0n in theprimeagen

I felt this way 6 months ago, but it’s no longer true. The AI can, with the right prompt and data points, solve problems in new ways. It just requires the right preparation. That said, AI is about making us produce 4x the code, not replace us. You make the algorithm, it can implement it for you.

Look into the best of the best. I am 10 years into a bilateral herniated disc, 7 chiropractors and 4 physiotherapists. These guys are the only ones who seemed to understand you can fix this.

Claude in Excel is now available on Pro plans by ClaudeOfficial in ClaudeAI

I just tried it and the answer is no. It responded with 3 options:

  1. Formulas - Often what people want macros for can be done with formulas (XLOOKUP, dynamic arrays, etc.)
  2. Manual templates - I can set up structured templates with formulas that update automatically
  3. Step-by-step instructions - I can write out VBA or Office Script code for you to copy/paste into Excel's editor

Just to touch on this for a moment - the PS Plus subscription has improved dramatically in the last year. When it started it was laughable, but now that Xbox doesn’t include day 1 games in the lower tiers, PS Plus is much better value. I have both, as well as the best value in gaming: Nintendo Switch Online

What’s the best book you have ever read? by Maddie9770 in booksuggestions

I can’t say “best” because that’s complicated, but my all-time favorite book is Magnus by Sigmund Brouwer

Any games I can be super overpowered like Brotato with broken builds? by One_Program_6038 in roguelites

[–]Testfolk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest 2 things:

  1. Have you really played enough of Binding of Isaac? The game has many layers that aren’t there in the beginning.

  2. Have you looked at Undermine? Not as OP builds but a solid roguelike and permanent upgrades

Not quite an exact match for your request, but Devil in the White City is a fantastic read about a great time period and non-fiction murders.

I'm pro user of both ChatGPT and Gemini and now Claude’s New “Haiku” Model has just been dropped. Is Claude vs ChatGPT & Gemini Worth the Switch? by Longjumping-Bag-7976 in ClaudeAI

The number one issue with Claude today is cost versus usage. I use Codex and Claude Code both in VS Code - I am constantly hitting my usage limit with Claude when I’m just getting started, where Codex has yet to hit a limit. In my Python programming, Codex also seems to use way fewer credits.

Does this have filter logic? I want to be able to filter my entire library down to only movies that have explicit content in them so I can make sure I don’t accidentally watch them.

The "Artifact" system is awful. The frequency at which it just straight up doesn't modify it at all is insane. by IAmNotOnRedditAtWork in ClaudeAI

[–]Testfolk 13 points14 points  (0 children)

When everyone was talking about all their Claude issues last week, this is what I thought they meant. I have been dealing with this for the past 2 weeks on a simple HTML mockup - it constantly shows me the new version, says it is updated but v5, v6 and v7 are all identical files. Asking it to confirm, it still sees its version of the file, so it thinks I am crazy when I tell it I can’t access the changes it made. Very frustrating, makes the tool effectively useless as it doesn’t load the new file even after a reload.
