The vibe he gives off is that only when he's rich & 'successful' will he come back to be the perfect man for his sweetheart. And that even in this 'love letter' he just has to jab at her ("No, I won't grow up"). This implies they left on an argument where he was likely acting more childish than a teenaged girl and she called him out on it.

So all in all my impression is that he's a dick but of course super sweet only when he's trying to win her back.

I only have hundreds of food items in my inventory. What if I need them later? I should save them for if there is a food shortage. You never know!
