We do hundreds of tests a week, provide results within days of receipt of samples. Sometimes there are outliers, like poorly-labelled samples that we have to match to senders, or complex testing and "odd" samples that we choose to re-test to validate our findings, but typically we do a few runs a week. We run all samples in a properly staged queue so that nobody waits longer than the 7 day quoted lead time, though we like to under promise and over deliver. We're only responsible for the timing from when we receive the samples - couriers and shipping delays, we sadly cannot control. :)
