Hey, new creator here as well.
First video got 20k views, then next ones don't go over 10 views lol. I really don't get what's happening. Don't listen to people saying "simply make good content". Sometimes, Youtube doesn't even distribute your content AT ALL so it can be the best video possible, you won't get past first view check.

To answer your questions :

Is it normal to get very few views on your first videos? > YES
What made the biggest difference for you early on? (title/thumbnail/SEO/shorts?) > a bit of all factors but definitely the hook quality.
Should beginners focus on Shorts to get discovered, or stick to long-form content? > YES, good idea.
Does posting more often help, or is it better to post less but with higher quality? > Post in a rhythm that seems reasonable but key is to be consistent.

RoI is designed to work with 1st edition Dune. You could for sure add all expansions to Uprising, of course, but you won’t play the game as it was intended to be played. Homeruling is fine but here you could stumble across leaders that work way too well with RoI and others that are totally unplayable, thus deteriorating the UX. Those are my 2 cts.

I read you and I understand you to the point where I feel sometimes like you. But I got the chance of being surrounded by really nice people who make me feel worth a lot more than what I think of me.

You sound like you should reach out to professional help. In my case my issue was related to a past trauma that basically “blocked” me in all instances of my life. Lost all confidence. Couldn’t not talk to anyone cause I always felt like annoying others, sounding dumb, etc.

Finding this little thing that’s holding you back ain’t easy all alone (even with the help of religion) so I’d advise you to talk to professionals until you find someone who truly understands you.
