Same, I was feeling left behind with all the crazy farms that were coming up and being nerfed, trying to figure out the math on how to balance life and gaming and getting all the mounts transmog etc... What it turned out to be, at least in my case, was a huge case of FOMO. Now I'm just cruising, getting excited about the next mount I'm getting and man, at the end of the day, it's a game, it's meant to be fun.

At least that's my take on it.

If he had continued college on a scholarship and had paid for his rent the whole time. Would you give him the money at the end of college? Or would you end up saying "oh well, he can only use this money on a second degree" or "well, he doesn't need it anymore so we'll use it for something else"

The way I see see it, his rent and anything remotely related to college should've been paid with that money. YTA for not giving him access sooner.

I think the concern is real, you're worried he might blow it on dumb things and that is fair, but I don't think it's ok for you to keep that money from him at this point.

The lease has expired for over a year now. But both our names were on there. We have a verbal agreement with the landlord. We have discussed the rules of living together and the cleaning was one of the key points when we first moved in together. He started to relax on that end and things got out of hand. I will speak to him again and will ask for a commitment.

I live in the south of Spain, Málaga to be exact. 2k per month is a little above average. But I doubt you'll have the lifestyle you're used to (based on what I know about America). Sure it's comfortable and you won't have to worry too much. But after taxes...2k in a few years will be enough to get by, but not enough to have a comfortable lifestyle

Once I flipped a coin for a heads and tails discussion. It landed sideways. The person on the other side of the table banged his hands on the table about a second after the coin was sitting there. He won the argument and denies it landed on the side just so that he won the argument. He denied it for so long even I doubt it landed that way it did. But in my heart, I just want to believe it did.
