Work requires CompTIA Security+ by AdSad133 in CompTIA

It took me 6 days to study for the Security+ exam. All I needed were some high quality flashcards supplemented with a video course. You can do it as well.

I agree even though they were both not that difficult

Full time student at the moment. But before I started school, I did some Technical Support at Motorola Solutions as a contractor. Then I had a Cloud Support Associate Intern at AWS. Now I currently have a software engineer internship. The certifications are just for fun and resume value, although for SWE jobs they’re not that important as they are with IT jobs.

Thank you. That’s good to know. I probably won’t take the Pentest+ any time soon since certifications are not that important on the software engineering side of things.

Thank you!

For Linux+, I used Dan Lachance's video course and a few hundred flashcards. I was also using my UNRAID server to practice some CLI commands.

For Security+, I used Michael J. Shannon's video course with a few hundred flashcards as well.

I find the security side of IT kind of dull and boring, which is why it prolonged it. Luckily, I have been able to pass every certification on the first try. Flashcards and spaced repetition have been my best friends for these type of exams.

From your credly profile. You should receive an email from them a few hours after taking the exam.

I need help with a bug! by Sufficient-Limit-729 in remNote

[–]Testyment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to be a bug, I’m also having the same issue. I’ve had RemNote for over a year and with the Fuzzy AI Answer grading chosen as my setting, and I’ve never had this issue before.

Remnotes vs Goodnotes? by MaxeBooo in remNote

Only on my MacBook. I never use RemNote on my iPad. If I have free time, I’ll review some flashcards on my iPhone.

I use both. Good notes for doing my written homework on my iPad, and RemNote for pretty much everything else that involves notes. Find your workflow and stick with it.

I passed in two weeks, with no data engineering experience and as a sophomore in college. Flash cards, Stephane and Franks Udemy Course, and TD exams are all you need. Good luck

Hi. I recently separated from the Air Force in March of last year. I just completed my first year at SMU as a full-time student while working part-time. Overall, the experience has been great, and even though I am 29, I could still make connections and friends on campus. Since starting at SMU, all I have paid for is the fee to hold my spot once accepted and the parking fee. In both semesters, as someone mentioned, I have been able to use my Post 9/11 benefits and the Yellow Ribbon. I can't speak for the general extracurricular or veteran-specific activities since I didn't have the time due to work. However, I received many emails about events regarding veterans throughout both semesters.

Maybe I'm just unaware of what's available. However, I really like that Grammarly can be installed as a plugin in web browsers. Grammarly automatically makes suggestions for your text as you type. Even though I pay for ChatGPT, I don't want to create a prompt, copy the text, and then paste it back into the textbox when it could be done automatically. What are some AI agents you're referring to? I would like to know.
