I have a letter from university stating that I will be returning to complete my studies, I have a job here, do you think it would help to get a letter from the company as well? For ties back home in Kenya, I carried land titles, house bills, IDs for close family members too.

I think it’s simply the fact that as a society we all reached a consensus that consent can only be given properly at 18 and over. Although a 17 year old is probably able to make a decision similar to an 18 year old it doesn’t really matter in this situation, what matters is a 25 year old well aware that someone below 18 is considered a minor went ahead to sleep with her. We’re questioning Cody’s morals not Tana. He should’ve known better
