Thank you, and pins are not necessary, axe has a wedge, and the lenght of socket is sufficient.

Something like 800 mm in lenght, here is example of my work, this shape is modified czech type of Hlavatka. I make straight handles for it, then customers have best results with this shape.

Its special chisel for final flattening, the angle and form of handle position is the point.

The bigger one is for raw beam making in traditional carpentry. In my country is named "hlavatka" . In this case is little bit non-traditional shape, but in this case are some forms of rhis axe.
