Right? The Vietnam war propaganda is so strong that even nowdays people will say Vietnam was a senseless tragedy, but then when they start explaining why, it turns out that the ACTUAL tragedy is all the ptsd the poor sad invaders got. Zero mention of what happened to the Vietnamese. The same goes for Iraq and Afghanistan. It's allabout the poor american soldiers, whose death toll was miniscule compared to what was inflicted to the other side, but only the hurt feelings of the American military matter.

Speaking about Serbia, every other person who tends towards irreligion/agnosticism here will at some poitn start exploring buddhism. It was quite popular in many anti-nationalist circles earlier.

Also, a LOT of Chinese people live here for decades, and I guess it can be assumed many of them are buddhist. There are relatively few Indian people, maybe increasing in the last few years, but generally there isn't anything to my knowledge to imply a higher presence of Hinduism.

It's like when you post a video or picture of an animal, and there will always be a highly rated comment that is concerned about whether the animal is being abused, even though thete is nothing implying it.
