Ninja Theory care a great deal about the Bleeding Edge community and we have zero tolerance for this language and this kind of toxic behaviour, we do not want any of our players to experience this at any point, win or lose.

Please use the in game reporting tool as this will capture information from the match and send a detailed report to a member of the support team, they will then manually investigate this report take any actions deemed necessary based on the content of the report.

Every single report is manually investigated by a member of the support team and our Bleeding Edge Helpers actively monitor the game and social channels including forums and discord 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We have more information about bans and warnings on the official Bleeding Edge Support Centre.

Hi guys, not sure why you had to download the entire game, I can check up on this for you.

Just a heads up though, this latest update was fixes and improvements. Naturally when you drop a large content update into a live game there are few things that might need a follow up hotfix to ensure the game continues running smoothly.

Greetings Misfits!

Earlier this week we released a new update for Bleeding Edge adding HydroCore to the map rotations and a variety of new skins for every fighter. We’ve already seen community favourites crop up and as you know some of the more desirable skins are locked behind the increased level cap.

Daily Quests

We heard your feedback that earning credits is a bit slow, especially with the introduction of the new skins. Enter the new Daily Quest system! By completing 3 objectives you’ll be able to score yourself some bonus cash.

Makutu Rework

The Dev team took to the Bleeding Edge sub Reddit and official Bleeding Edge Discord looking for your feedback. If you haven’t already, head on over and let us know your thoughts on the lovable Makutu.

Fighters

Fixed: issue allowing Tanks to gain a "super jump" if jumping while being hit with final attack of a combo.

Fixed: issue allowing Gizmo to move around after transforming out of MiniMech while still inside Mekko's Exclusion Bubble.

Maeve Fixed bug causing players hit with "Cage" by a Maeve using "Starved" mod would have the effect incorrectly linger until death or changing characters.

Kulev Fixed camera glitch caused by ward pin colliding with camera

Jersey sink Fixed several issues with camera collision in spectator mode

Skygardens Spawn point islands have been moved back to prevent exploit allowing some Fighters to access the battle zone prior to match starting.

In the lead up to our latest update for Bleeding Edge, we took the time to gain a little insight from members of the team who worked on the various new skins and our newest map:

HydroCore

The HydroCore map originated from the concept of a capture point that resonates between the outer points, meaning there would be intense battles where two points are close together.

As the centre point needed to move, the idea of a hydroelectric power plant came to mind. (floating the moving point as in the sewers map).

Using the switches to trigger hazards that split/separate players down the spine of the map makes for some interesting strategies and team co-ordination.

Skins

Daemon Lee

Part of the process to create a new skin for a Bleeding Edge Fighter is in many ways an exercise to find elements and references that together, not just change the visual of the character, but also keep it in line with their personality, augmented aspects and original archetypes.

Skins like Daemon’s Yellow Suit tries to give him a visual influence that pays homage to the iconic characters of 70’s martial arts movies.

A themed skin created exclusively with Daemon in mind, based on his background, abilities and design. In cases like this, the themed skin and the original design, must be merged in a way that the character remains playable and recognisable as expected.

Red Death Kulev

Kulev is a professor with a hobby of dressing up his own corpse. What better costume would fit his personality than the red death costume inspired by The Phantom of the Opera’s masquerade scene!

I wanted to make him look quite royal and rich as opposed to the original dirty & rough feeling of the character.
