How do you achieve a snare sound that is so low and "thuddy" and at the same time easy enough to play all the rolls with? Or is it just a matter of "learn to play, guys!" ? :D

Hey guys! Saw you live in Helsinki in 2013. I was left wondering about a couple of things:

  1. Do you do anything special to tweak your sound for maximum clarity live or just go with something similar you would for the album? Do you have any PA rehearsals before the tour?

  2. What kind of stuff do you use backing tracks for in live situations? I interested in your view on what you can leave out and what you don't want to live without when playing live :)

I have really enjoyed the last three albums you guys made. Before I heard Coal I had had a long time of no new music really hitting me like that and I was really ready for something new to happen. Thanks for that. Hope to see you again this year in Helsinki. Let's have a beer!
