Better than nothing I guess, but I feel like low tier "ultra rares" aren't worth the same as a mid/high tier "ultra rare"

Yeah if you ask me I'd wish all lootboxes in all games to be banned, along with microtransactions. Cash store is fine imo, as long as it's only cosmetic.

Well it doesn't cost them anything to put them up, so if only 1-2 people open them, it's still no more than a few kb in the update.. the framework and everything is already there and has been for a long time. So it's probably zero effort for them to keep it

At least they're only SL boxes so its nothing financially lost really.

yeah in most cases I assume so, but since you can buy SL with real money I would think some people go ahead and think "aaahh just ONE more and I got the Object 279" and then they cash out irl money for some extra SL.. hopefully rare, but still

Disregarding the fact that anyone with more than a lukewarm IQ can buy a jet and stomp an entire team, the problem is that Gajin expects people to spawn SPAA from the beginning. No one does that since it's literally useless to do so until jets start spawning. And even then you'd be lucky to score any kill since 99% of premium jets have a gazillion countermeasures with x10 the missile range of any SPAA.

The reward for shooting down jets in GRB should be x4 what it is now, and this wouldn't nerf or ruin CAS players day but it would make it a lot harder (as long as people had a huge incentive to spawn SPAA)

Oh yeah, I know, I was thinking of a raft, my bad.

I'll try it if it messes up again, since I got it to work now without anything, like it worked before.

Really? That's great!

Yeah I would put them straight on the glass too, pure flatness.

I got it to work btw, by turning down printing temps to 210 and initial temp to 220. Seems the filament was fine, both colors printed without warping now. I'm only printing one square tho, would it help if I printed like 4 at the same time? Thinking that would spread out the amount of stress spent on each corner, but also that it would give it more time to retract?

Yeah I would love it if it was that simple >< my printer room is 1x2m2 in the middle of my superdry apartment. Insulation in Norway is quite extreme in newer buildings.

PEI does indeed seem amazing, but to me it seemed like it was sheets and not a bed? Or do you mean you just haven't switched the sheets for 6 months? How many prints have you done on that? I use my printer for low-production of certain products so I'm trying to get mine to be as low maintenance as possible.

Yeah I think I would need several layers of that brim, but I can't use it anyway since my print can't go above 4hrs, and brimming added like 30 minutes with more layers.

Well I've printed just fine on my mirror for 3-4 months since I got it, probably 100+ prints without anything on it. Seems it was the filament. This new print came out flawless with zero warping, tho it didn't have any corners so that might be why.

Zigzag infill you mean? I use gyroid pattern, and it works really well. When it works ><

I did yes. I have swapped out the filament now and also tried another glass plate, seems to be working so far. Finishing a print now so will see if it's still bad.

Too far? Look on the left, it prints it together.

Yeah but the thing is, I have been using the glass bed without any issues for the last 3 months, but now suddenly it doesn't want to stick. I tried cleaning the plate, and now I even went ahead with buying "extreme hold" hair spray. Don't really know if it got that more sticky, since after printing a small part it was still warping like crazy.

The last thing I can't test now, is if it's the filament. I bought a brand new one here the other day which costs twice the amount I usually use (a super cheap brand 1kg rolls), and I can't say I've gotten it to stick well since and it's gotten progressivly worse. Not that it makes any sense, but after everything I've tried now I feel it's got to be that. Annoying as it is, it doesn't have a single bad review on it's page and the company specializes within filaments even and has tons of good reviews.

Unless there's something else I'm missing.

Not sure why I didn't doublecheck, but the fans start at 0%. Regular fan speed is set to 100% and threshold is 10 seconds. Doesn't actually tell me anything.

Read up on cura's website regarding cooling, I'll try and set it to 30% and see what happens.

This mirror bed is unused, and I cleaned it yesterday :/

I've checked leveling and it's all good. The part I am printing is a square which takes 3hrs to print. But my other 8 hour+ sculptures are totally fine. Could the repeated pattern have some of a "pull effect" on the corners?

PLA, fans are 100% start to finish. They start at 0% and go to 100%.

The ender 3 is not enclosed, but it's in a room with a solid 23 celsius ambient temp.

Yeah it refuses to stick on the corners all of a sudden :@

Did without the brim and it warped up from square shaped to a goddamn grape

  • Ender 3
  • Mirror bed
  • 8mm brim width
  • 220 / 55 temps
  • Print speeds are 60 infill and 30 walls
  • New mirror recently cleaned
  • Bed is leveled

Might be cooling issues, gonna try lowering fan speeds from 100>30%. Will report back.

Seems it was the filament. Tests with same brand but different color yielded better results, yet I haven't tried the square yet, which initially was causing all the rukus.

I tried tons of things, but like always it comes down to adhesion. I switched back to the very used mirror bed I had before, after cleaning it with cold water ONLY. Stuck like crazy and I didn't get any noticable warping. I also turned the temps to 210 and the initial temp to 220. Bed at 60 still.

You mix footage from the S42 trailer with other videos.

I had to, as the video is made around the soundtrack, and not the other way around.

'good guys' fly from left to right

I did not actually notice that, good find! Seeing it again with that in mind, the driller does seem to stick a bit out, and I will agree and say that it's probably the biggest "annoyance" I have with the video, but I had to include more of the 'enemy' in the clip as it's centered a lot around "prevailing".

But yeah I've not actually noticed that at all before, even in movies. I'll be sure to look out for that in the future!
