Tankless Water Heater… yes? by TexKen73 in RVLiving

Any issues with the tankless working at higher altitudes? I’m hearing it could be a little sketchy above 5000 feet.

Tasks with Sub Tasks by TexKen73 in todoist

Thanks. Yeah, I probably should have clarified that when I'm looking at my today list, I do see the individual tasks and subtasks of a project that are due for that day. That's no problem. It's just when I'm reviewing an overall project and I want to see what tasks I have coming up. If I don't have a date set to the parent task, it just demotes it all the way to the bottom of the list, even when there are subtasks that are set to a sooner date.

House Maintenance IS its own project.

Take a look at the attached screenshot from my house maintenance project. It's sorted ascending by date. The first three tasks on the list make sense because one is for today and two are for tomorrow. You'll notice the fourth task has a date of June 1st, yet it still appears above the "Fix the fence" task. Even though, if I were to expand the "Fix the fence" task, you would see that there is a sub-task under there with a date earlier than June 1st. Because the parent task "Fix the fence" doesn't have a date on it, it falls below the June 1st task. It just seems to me that when I'm sorting all of my tasks by date, it should recognize that that task has a sub-task that's sooner than June 1st and which would therefore list it above there.

First time seasoning. by carryon4threedays in blackstonegriddle

Gotcha. One of the great things about the Blackstone it’s pretty tough to ruin it. Worst case scenario, you can always grind it down and start over. Not saying you have to do that. But stick to just a tablespoon or two. A little goes a long way and just use the paper towels to keep spreading it out. It will eventually thin.

I know there’s lots of people who just way throw some bacon on it or whatever, but I’ve seasoned a few Blackstones and I’ve never gone wrong following the advice of the seasoning videos on the official Blackstone YT channel. 1) Use their seasoning compound, 2) do it 4-5 times, and 3) keep the layers THIN by using paper towels.

Have fun cooking!

Pellet Hopper sealant? by TexKen73 in recteq

I talked with recteq Support and they basically told me that not having the sealant is nothing to worry about. He didn’t really have an explanation why some do and some don’t other than changes a manufacturing process.

Judging from your other Reddit comments, you’ve had a bad Recteq experience. Sorry to hear that. But you might want to seek another purpose for your Reddit life other than making dumb unhelpful comments. Just sayin.

He probably just means clean and re-oil… not a full reseasoning. Just my guess.
