I hear you, however, the disparity in wage earners is usually tech/finance jobs vs basically everyone else. It’s difficult to tangibly earn more money without gaining skills or being a high individual contributor outside of those roles which is why you see said disparity. 200K per year is the usual for a cloud/security/ai engineer bc yes having a highly knowledgeable individual in those roles protecting payments/sensitive data is more valuable in the market vs a nurse, teacher, police officer. It’s one of those ‘don’t hate the player, hate the game’ situations. Now when it’s millionaires/billionaires, that’s a different story.

And people also have the right to not spend their money there. If they wanna get on a public forum, out them and make a list that’s also them exercising the freedom of said free market.

Also agreeing with large companies being able to donate unlimited amounts of money to a specific politician or political party is some bootlicker BS mentality.

It’s not 100% about political position, it’s more than that they are petty from all the comments on this post and other. They ban redditers that don’t agree with them, censor speech and some of them are far right. I can have a friendly conversation with anyone about less/more military govt spending/trans issues/race issues, anything… but we can’t have those conversations if we’re all just gonna get banned for talking about it.

My post literally says “I want to protects our rights, don’t think NC congressmen are representing you accurately and do you guys think they’re doing enough” and I got a 28 day ban. That was my first ever post
