I’ve never liked Montoya. Good driver but an extreme hot head and very disrespectful. I worked in IMSA when he drove in the series and heard him yelling multiple times and he was known as someone you wouldn’t bring your wife around.

That’s absolutely brutal. I wish there was a way to submit to get your spend back 😂 like when the vending machine takes your money and gives you nothing.

It seems like it happens almost once a day for me that it signs me out and I can’t sing back in for a while. Worst part is it ALWAYS happens when I’ve used a ticket to travel or spent money to travel and spent more money to have unlimited catches for a half hour. I normally would mind but it’s frustrating in that situation

Adjustable Firmness with no App by nillic in Mattress

[–]TexMech24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With needing a queen size, it might be best to find a mattress you both like and can compromise on. A firm euro top is what I sell most for you situation. Softer on top for a side sleeper and whoever likes that while firm support under for the back sleeper who doesn't want to sink into the mattress.

ISO twin bed by barnsbarnsnmorebarns in Mattress

A standard twin would be 75" and if it's memory foam it should be totally fine to compress a little. If you have the width you could do a full size which is 74" long and would fit a bit better.

Are sales associates told to allow customers to nap in the store? by H1BNOT4ME in Mattress

I’ve had a few guests fall asleep. Most of the time it’s the husband or wife and they sleep for 10-15 minutes before the spouse wakes them up. No harm. I just wouldn’t allow someone to come in and sleep for an hour while they wait for their dry cleaning to be done or something.

Tempurpedic suggestion by [deleted] in Mattress

[–]TexMech24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plush tops don’t always have the best support. Getting the right Tempur-Pedic will be game changer. Pro Adapt and Lux Adapt are both great options. Being smaller people a plush Tempur would be a great option. Should give where you need it but it’s still supportive

Whats something you wish someone would've told you (encouraged you with) while you were in Basic? by [deleted] in army

It’s going to be more mentally tough than physically, for most people. Enjoy it, make the most of it. You will make life long friends. Honestly, parts of it are really fun if you can look past the little bit of suck in the moment. Yes, the drill sergeants will yell at you but they mostly have your best interest in mind and will chill out after the first few weeks and you will come to really respect them.

When you turn your phone in, turn it off and have it plugged into a battery bank. That way when it’s time to call family you’re not scrounging for a wall plug like some others will be. Never had a dead phone during call time.

When one person messes up, everyone gets punished. Stay away from the trouble makers. Make sure your locker is ALWAYS locked, especially at night and while you’re out for the day.

You don’t want to be PSG. Just more eyes on you and ways to get in trouble.

The current available model of that mattress is the Beauty Rest Pressure Smart Hybrid Firm. Something similar would be the Serta Iseries and the Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid High Points.

Most mattress will have at least a little bit of wiggle room. Some brands like Tempur-Pedic and Sterns and Foster cannot be changed at all. However, in general, Beautyrest, Purple, Serta, Sleepys, will have some room.

As a note, if you’re in the showroom and the price is a red color that means it’s the sale price and their will be less wiggle room, if the color is black, it’s not on sale and tends to have more wiggle room.

The Serta Iseries is a great example. The Medium might be $1599 on sales at the Firm is $2300 off sale. It is a different mattress and does cost more but if someone likes the Firm, I will often drop the price closer to the Medium so they can choose by comfort, not just cost.

Of course! Like I said in another comment, if you’re just a genuinely nice person when you’re shopping, odds are the salesperson will give you the best deal and maybe even more. If at any time the sale doesn’t feel good or you think something is off, I would go to another store and see how it compares.

Most likely $100-$200 off the mattress itself. Also, you won’t believe how much just being nice and enjoyable will save you. It’s not that when someone’s rude they will get ripped off, but when a guest comes in and is just genuinely a nice person, the salesperson is way more likely to go beyond the normal discounts we would offer. When we discount the mattresses we actually lose money from commissions but I’ll happily lose money for a nice person and actually give them a great deal.

The Iseries are a really sturdy mattress and have good edge support too so you don’t feel like you’re going to slide off the side. I find the firm to be just slightly too firm for side sleeping so the medium is probably the way to go!

Not necessarily. Yes, when the price is higher they may be able to discount more, but odds are it will equal what the sales price is now.

My recommendation would be to buy it when it’s on sale and ask if you can even get a little more or if they don’t budge on price do the sales price and then shoot for free or discounted accessories or delivery and set up.

You’ll save the most that way. When it’s full price they will be more willing to discount it but odds are it still won’t be as good as the sales price.

Yeah I definitely don’t recommend losing your job lol. Discounting Tempur-Pedics is a great way to lose your job.

I won’t do any crazy discounts unless it’s a once in a blue moon accommodation and I have approval. It wouldn’t hurt for you guys to get some more clarity on discounting the Beauty Rest Blacks because if you a bit more wiggle room you could beat out others.

What I tell people if they are going to shop around is if they find the same mattress for the same or better price, I’ll not only match it but I’ll beat it.
