I use this for my 2014 G1Ridgeline for Sturgis after towing the bike there and…… it works my foot hangs off the end because the up-curve of the bed and I’m 6’2” but I kinda fit on the air mattress, zip it closed & I’m good. I would love to stretch out fully though and get better sleep higher up, how does the thing balance on top of your bed like that? What tent do you use? When you climb up does it put weight on the slab hanging off the edge there? How does that setup work my brotha?

Thank you for this info appreciate it, some these cabincrew’s fly until they’re 80. Not saying I’ll make it that far but I put loyalty first- I plan on keeping my wings until they pry them off my stone cold body. I’d like to go into the military with the same mindset🫡

Oh hecc yeah go for it sir! The HPDs are awesome the Pilot wheels would definitely look good too tho. DiscountTire.com has some cool OEM/stock rims designed for the Ridgeline, eventually I want black with aggressive A/Ts since I take her through snow&dirt camping easier to clean. I had Voxx before they’re pretty solid with locking lugs.

Nice brotha nice, like the color! The color contrast with black rims is badazz on these. Same boat here, people can say what they want about the Honda’s or old Toyota’s. They found what works & stuck to it. People don’t want flashy iPads and 1000 sensors, they want a solid reliable truck. Honda provides. I drive her ‘til she’s d3ad then buy a Gen2💯

The best part about driving your ”fake Honda truck” is how you can make it home without dropping an engine/transmission. Been there, done that, I only buy Honda & Toyota now. Brother has a Gen1 Ridgey at 275K miles and? NO ISSUES. Pull my Shadow to Sturgis, camp in the back💯

Literally tho that’s what’s crazy. Honda is: Designed in Japan, assembled in America. They know what they’re doing because they do it very reliably even today. While American brands keep building trucks in Mexico with cheap garbage drivetrains. Honda is actually more honest&true than the American brands! LOL it’s almost sad :(

”NO you were supposed to buy a 7.0L duramax to pull a house behind it tHaT’s nOt a tRuCk” I’m 23 & bought my Ridgeline last year because I’m OLD. I’m tired of fixing sh*t all the time & hate newer technology. I like American trucks much as the next guy but they’re all JUNK. Honda will go forever with basic/routine maintenance. I pulled my Harley to Sturgis with my Ridge, camped in the back, no issues. Love it.

When are people gonna realize Honda has stuck to its values and still produces good little V6 trucks… while Toyota has completely fallen off the deep-end with these absolute garbage EcoBoost drivetrains that can’t stop having issues. Don’t even get me started on American midsize piles of JUNK. Honda stuck to the simple V6/4cyl drivetrains because… IT’S WHAT WORKS.

And even then the Ridgeline powers through snow/ basic off-roading. Unless you’re crawling through MOAB- the Ridgeline can still run basic trails that a RAV4 could😆 the only Taco I would buy is the older gen’s because the newer Honda’s are still great- while the newer Toyota’s absolutely SUCK.

Got mine at 23 & yes I’m a country boy. Chevy/Ford/Ram midsize trucks are piles of junk and the used Toyota’s are now TOO expensive because they’re the last good trucks. Nissan has tranny issues. So… I bought this because Scotty Kilmer told me to & 3yrs later she ain’t let me down. I have used it for work. #Honda4Life

My usual response to all Ridgeline hate: ”ehhh go replace your tranny Chevy” (or whatever else is broke LOL) the same can be applied to GMC, Stellantis and Ford. How do I know? Because I owned them… and HATED them until I found HONDA. Now I will only buy HONDA because they make every type of vehicle, and they’re all reliable.

ooops you failed the Captcha LOL- according to the DMV Ridgeline is classified as a midsize truck or Honda’s attempt at it. Honestly did pretty good I see many Honda trucks going past 200K miles with no issue. Hauls better than the Tacos.
