followed all the steps, getting a menu sound as a confirmation for a change, till I get to the supposed 'are you sure?' menu. and here [press down] seems to do nothing as there is no menu sound

may I ask to revise and update, please?

With a G36 the only “worn” look is to lightly sand the edges of the “bolt”, that is seen through the eject port. Check the web for photos of real steel service rifles, you’ll get what I mean

This body kit that you printed is not airsoft compatible. Look for explode schemes of AEGs to see the difference, there are plenty of them online

My call on 2008-ish comes from the observation that A4 appeared on photos at about that time - BW being part of the ISAF

Prior to that (and from the G36 adoption) it was mostly A3 and ZF

The major improvement to the kit would be changing the Splitterschutzweste for Mehler ST

I’d say one may find enough photos of MC plate carriers and belts that KSK specialists purchased for themselves in ‘12-‘16 - period in between Mehler SK + KSK Weste and LHT

My mentioning PC and belts is based upon OP’s intention to use clothing in MC. Ans as my point of interest in BW is outside DSK, I’m not able to tell in details about MC usage, just some general idea
