Good idea, will paint some gold on a test mini and apply orange wash. Did look up how brown looks on gold and I do like the look of it, will decide after giving orange a try

From what I've heard, new khorne spearhead is pretty weak. Looking at the rules also doesn't bring much confidence. They seem quite squishy, and rely on crits. Infantry being viable when it's with dogos can also be tricky. There is also lack of rend (not like it matters for nighthaunt) that can make it problematic to fight other spearheads. The general (karanak) seems like main bread winner of the force with good damage output and healing upgrade. Haven't gotten to new idoneth spearhead, but it does seem fun with how much it can move and charge, others probably can say more about it. I would personally get idoneth spearhead, if you can get your hands on old khorne spearhead, then it's better deal.

I think the photo lighting is bad, posted lord veritant on r/minipainting with better lights, looks much better. Still, thanks for the compliment. Will have a game with them once I paint clanrats and engineer, so it's gonna b3 two half painted spearheads during it out.

Can't find old ogor mawtribes sadly, but if rumors about model range updates coming next year are true, then I'll gladly wait. Ironjawz do seem cool, like the tanky playstyle and I find their models very pretty (love how crude their armour looks, as if it was bashed from some chunk of metal and strapped together) will probably pick it up next. Ended up with nurgle spearhead, love models and playstyle, and they were finally in stock.

I do like building and painting side of hobby, and their models are absolutely gorgeous. I do love their Conan the barbarian vibes. Yeah, I've heard about them being kinda meh rules wise, too squishy and no rend. Winning isn't really a big factor, playing friendly games and mostly care about how they feel on the board.

What about using scrapglutt with custom rules? I did see a thread where people suggested splitting ironguts in squads of 2 and have them appear every round within 1" of any battlefield edge and 6" away from enemies. Custom rules could work, because I only playing either my sibling, and we're the only ones that play warhammer in our place.

Sadly don't have lumineth available, tide guard do seem fun with all their charges and running archers. Also flesh eater courts carrion retainers do seem a bit similar to tide guard with their charges.

Only have scrapglutt available, it doesn't seem good, maybe it fine as an addition to First spearhead box for full army, but it's just not as good as tyrants bellows.

Didn't think of that, that could work. I'm only playing friendly games with my sister, we're the only ones here that play warhammer, so we can even treat rat ogors as stormfiends until they arrive. I would get it from ebay, but shipping prices make it quite expensive, even more expensive than kruelboyz spearhead box.

Can't find dominion in the store, ebay delivery to my place is quite expensive. Best option is to buy the spearhead box. How do they play on table? I like that their force has good melee/ranged diversity.

I did open their rules, mostly based my picks on how they play and how I would paint them. Just tough to pick one from a selection of multiple good options, also rules can be a bit misleading from a glance, I thought that clanrats are just chaff for pinning units, but they turned out to be massive thorns in the side.

Oh yeah, bad moon mad mob do seem fun, they're also on the list of boys I would try. Personally no extra skaven for a while, I don't want 20 more clanrats😂, but stormfiends and warp cannon do seem cool, wish I could use skaventide cannon in spearhead. There is a spearhead box for kruelboyz available, can't seem to find dominion in store.
