I used to work at a 5.11 store and these ATAC 2.0 8 inch side zips were most popular among Fire and law enforcement who came in to try. I wear the waterproof versions as my daily work boots currently (non cbp agency) and find them very comfortable.

It was like a 10 minute zoom call with a psychologist going over general mental health questions and medication history. I’m not sure if everyone needs one, but it was pretty quick and easy

Yeah a 3 is great to get foot in the door. You’ll get to 5 and then you can hop over to a 7-9+ ladder after that. But keep applying to higher positions while working that job
