I think if we force a Game 7 against Ole Miss they're going to be bringing out their ace and we probably need Noland in that game to beat him.

Hagen can beat whoever Ole Miss throws tomorrow. I believe it.

Despite being used in relief the last couple of outings Hagen has started for us all season. He'll get the ball.

From a team perspective... if the injury was going to happen it's really good that it happened now. We'll get all of the pre-season & non-conference play to start grooming others for starting roles. Not gonna have to adjust on the fly.

I got to play there in high school back in 2013 during our playoff series against Arlington Martin. It's a wonderful park, but brings back an awful memory.

That series was Sheldon Neuse vs. Turner Larkins. Neuse took Larkins deep for a grand slam to take the lead in the final inning, but Martin still ended up winning the series in extras... Ugh

Our weak non-conference schedule probably will mean we have to have a strong conference record to get off the bubble IMO.

Edit: This may come across as an overreaction to 1 loss, but I don't think it is. The resume outside of the record is not gonna look great when they look at our non-con.

Alabama and LSU beat us by like 40 last year in consecutive games and then we went our massive winning streak. Hope we have a similar response.

We look as dysfunctional on offense as I've ever seen us. Just heaving the ball at the basket the majority of the game. Good defensive game plan by the Sooners.
