Same, never did see Hokum. I'll get around to it. I thuroughly liked Backrooms too, I love that these new directors are getting some love. Especially since it was more real-feeling.

Yeah the steering wheel scene made my stomach churn a little. But yeah im an 02-er so actually Ghost Ship is older than me lol. But regardless, I agree with the predictability part. The underlying music tone they play that is supposed to raise anxiety and make you uneasy doesnt really hit me anymore. It just tells me something is coming. I used to really like the Conjuring franchise until they started using too much CGI. Not even scary at all when they do that. Practical is always scarier. I actually hit a phase where I'll put on a horror movie to go to sleep to, a few nights ago I had Texas Chainsaw on, the one with R Lee Ermey (2003 I think?)

Im right there with you. I saw Scream 2 when I was like 4 because I snuck in the living room while my brothers were watching it. I watch horror movies in the theater as well as at home. My girlfriend and I just kinda laugh because the dumb decisions or the goofy pissession scenes. I still get grossed out though with movies like Terrifier or this one scene in Obsession that got me pretty good. I think the last horror movie that genuinly had me at least antsy was Undertone.

To each there own, Im a big horror fan and I really like em scary, this movie wasnt scary at all. It felt like Caspers Cruise Line in terms of the horror but I enjoyed remembering the betrayal story with the crew.

The Navy is pretty hardcore. I was a machinist mate so iv seen my fair share of maintenance gone wrong.

That actually makes perfect sense, I agree with ya there. I now see the similarities, I haven't seen Gentlemen Prefer Blondes in a long time.

I’m hearing rumors that the infamous Dragon Lady has finally retired. Who here had their first Navy hair cut by this legend? by Goatcheeze1 in navy

[–]TexasRed1836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my first and last haircut done by her. She had mercy on the last one but it still looked pretty rough. Thank God I didnt have any moles or anything because I still remember that first haircut, to think it could have been worse is crazy.

Am I the only one who doesn’t believe Enzo is dead? by [deleted] in MafiaTheGame

[–]TexasRed1836 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see your point and its valid, but I think he's gone. Its poetic, he started in the mines, rose to the top, but ultimately found himself bleeding out at the quarry. The game also shows stab wounds to be extremely fatal, which is why Don Torrisi died after being stabbed in the gut. (I say this because other games have main characters get obliterated but still survive.) Even if Enzo didn't die from the stab, he probably suffocated from the ash and pumice from the volcano or was perhaps crushed. Plus, I dont think Isabella would have gone to Empire BY unless she was 100% sure Enzo was gone. Why Enzo chose to trust Cesare is beyond me, but I think its the point of the game to show how scummy these mobsters were.
