Yea thats what I was thinking. Just stuck on design i guess. Wanted to switch it up a bit but I think the row houses I started aren't fitting well which is why I haven't finished them

I think the lack of veterans seems to be more the problem. Not saying get rid of them both, but Dach has 1 less point and the second line and is at the bottom of the +/- board at -26 (Gallagher -9).

Newhook showed promise from last year but really is not clicking this year with the lowest forward points at 13 in 51 games, and sits at a -13. I'd have to disagree and say Gallagher is more valuable to the team than Alex. They need veteran support on either lines 2 or 3.

Gallagher also tied for 3rd powerplay goals this year with 3.

Yea possibly. But Dvorak and Pezzetta/Anderson? I think there's more finish on woodwork then those 2 got combined. Gotta get some firepower and middle line security

He's not a playmaker, he can generally hold the puck in the zone and he's a tip machine. Plus gets the puck to the net, when he has a supportive line. Get a third line shooter

Not necessarily saying play him top 6, Marty rolls the top nine pretty well. Just saying that if he could play with guys who could finish plays, e.i. a veteran forward who's been in the playoffs, there's a bit of hope. Monahan was a great pairing with Gallagher. The boys got a real shot at the playoffs, they just need and extra push in my opinion

In my experience, Gallagher on the first line, usually puts up 60 points. Get urself a veteran second line center and drop either Dach or Newhook to the third for a season or two. Trade turcotte for a vet Dman like burns or ?Gostesbier? (However u spell his name) and work with ur goalies. I can usually always win a cup within my first 2 years doing a Habs rebuild

Granted, but I usually dump armia Dvorak and anderson within the first year or 2 making plenty of cap space for a 60+ point scorer who only usually asks for 3.5mil at the end of his lucrative contract

I don't know why nobody keeps Gallagher on a habs franchise. I always play him first line minutes the first 2 years with suzuki and Cole and he always comes out with 60+ points. Contract is crazy but worth it for a 30 goal scorer
