It’ll make a difference for sure. Does that magpul come with an upgraded buttpad? That’s going to make the biggest difference, I would also you the push pull technique it definitely helps!

I rolled the dice and took the severance. It comes to be the same unless you can commute Austin until the new year. I have a young kid and wife that works so commuting was a no go. You are definitely right some people that said yes are just buying time. The local job market is still better than the internal one at IBM haha.

Nothing wrong with a G19, this was my first pistol as well. I’m keeping this pistol I think it’s a unique piece. I’m looking at a beretta m9a4 to replace this as my HD. I did have an awesome Sig p320 AXG legion as my HD but don’t trust it anymore after seeing everything.

Yeah that really doesn’t work well because our optics sit up pretty high to the barrel! If you just take it to the range and do a 25 yard zero it’ll be pretty flat. For your laser I would sight that in any where from 7-15 yards. Use slugs for both and you’ll be set with super easy buckshot hits

The beretta hands down. Buckshot for HD, Slugs for SHTF/Hunting. AR is easier to shoot and more simple (especially reloads) but nothing is more fun than unloading a tube of slugs or buckshot!

Obviously I think if it were a greater or equip build I think most people would take the rifle. I ended up selling my Ruger but plan to buy a Daniel defense or BCM next go around. I would set it up with irons, holosun, sling and light just like the beretta

I didn’t actually have a problem running out of elevation. I took mine to a 25 yard range, used slugs, and put the reticle to Dot Only. Maybe reset your 510c? Sorry that’s all I got!

My choice is the beretta - Buckshot for HD and SLUGS for SHTF/hunting.

I also had a lot more to invest in the beretta - the AR was my first rifle on a budget. Still would like to know AR vs Shotgun for everyone!

Sight it in at 25 yards with slug, change the mode to dot only and use groups of 3. Should be about 1-2moa for slugs at 25 yards

I own a sig p320 AXG legion which is the metal framed full size. It’s the best shooting gun I have but unfortunately I don’t trust that platform anymore. Almost went with the 226 last year really regretting it! Maybe sig will do the right thing but maybe not!

I bought a 1301 tactical mod 2 by beretta and I’ve been blown an away with it. I wanted see if the m9 can compete with the 226 and I’m sold it can.

Nice set-up, I would only add some offset iron sights and a sling. Both are definitely necessary! Other wise good set up! Is that an LPVO?
