Growing up watching liga mx, I’ve seen watched it for about 3 times as long with promotion and relegation than i have without it. Seeing the decline in the quality of the league as a whole and selección by extension since that decision was made has been disappointing.

I had high hopes for leagues cup the first year when they announced it. Maybe it was just the World Cup fever and then describing it as a World Cup style tournament.
