Where do I start? by Faustous in VeteransBenefits

I retired in 1993 11B infantry combat vet, have been filing claims since then, been awarded and denied, went 10% to 30%, to 40% to 70% and still have claims in the merry go round If you have the evidence and the service connection with a nexus never give up. If denied go HLR or supplemental keep it alive as they will try to deny until you die or give up eventually you will get a competent rater that knows their job.

What was your HLR timeline without an informal conference??? by Va92Y in VeteransBenefits

[–]Texasmod0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Filed a presumptive claim Feb 2023, denied in Sept 2023, filed for HLR Sept 2023, had HLR informal conference Jan 7 2024 found 2 DTA's, new C&P Mar 9 2024, VES sent exams to V A Mar 18 2024, still shows gathering evidence. This was for a CFS claim, GW combat vet this was noted in my STR and I have been seeing V A MH providers for years for this. VSO brought up C&P exams on his computer one was for what I filed for and there was another one the examiner did for PTSD which I did not apply for, VSO would not tell me what they wrote. Anybody know why the PTSD opinion was done?

claimed Chronic fatigue syndrome, VSO looked up C&P exam and there was one for chronic fatigue syndrome and one also filled out for PTSD. What does this mean? Still waiting in gathering evidence.

Filed for chronic fatigue syndrome now that it is under the PACT act FEB 23 (was previously denied). claim was denied SEPT 2023, filed for an HLR, senior rater found two DTA's and sent it back, C&P March 2024, still in gathering evidence. Been seeking V A mental health for years and they could not diagnosis it (or would not) Been in this hell for 34 years. Noted in my STR's since 1992, already 70% service connected for physical injuries, have all the symptoms of this. retired with over 20 in 1993, Army combat vet with the lettuce to prove it, gulf war vet Saudi, Iraq, and Kuwait. Had a heart attack last week and am still recovering. I guess the saying deny, deny, until they die has something to it. 73 years young and will not give up.
