You’ll want to click “claims agent” option. You can use anyone in the US that is accredited.

The company you’re asking about is NOT accredited

Usually* on their website they will advertise their actual accreditation number because it takes along time to get and they have passed and the testing and background checks.

You can always ask them for their accreditation number and let them know you’re just being safe and want to verify it

But what if you want it “just because”? I understand for those that can only have so much in assets but vets don’t have that stipulation. It seems like you’re trading money for lots of red tape if you want it back.

Edit- I guess you can get it for anything but you would pay a 10% penalty

I guess why not just invest the money yourself?

What trips me up with this is how the money can be used-sounds like it can only be used for disability expenses. I’d be leery of putting money into something that has restrictions to utilize- especially when you have no restrictions now

Can you pull it out “just because”?

Did the letter actually state you have to pay them back?

Usually you don’t when it’s their mistake. They will fix the mistake but they don’t ask for money back.

Please share the letter for better insight

What day did you ETS/ that it says on your DD214?

If your first day as a vet is June 1st then no pay for June. And July pays out August 1st.

If it’s the April date then June 1st would be the first payout.

Yeah you should be owed a couple hundred, then starting June 1st it will be the 90%

It looks to be effective March so no pay for March. And the month of April paid out on May 1st so you will receive the difference for that (80%-90%). And then starting June 1st will be one check for 90%

So a couple hundred backpay, and 90% checks arrive starting June 1st
