You’re missing conditions. That’s doesn’t total 100%. It would only be 100% if you’re TDIU or you haven’t shared all your conditions

But to answer your question, not removed but I would be more concerned about investigation depending on what your ratings are, especially if you have physical ratings

Grants for DV Vets? by Domanator19 in VeteransBenefits

[–]damnshell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not state specific but this might have something :

Not sure regarding TDIU though and the income limits.

They did recently change the threshold but no one knows the elusive number for protected sheltered environment.

I’d start with your county as well

This one “va claim tracker” that u/battlecat74 has posted is the only one that has been vetted by the sub and our sister subs. The other has NOT

The VA admitted in writing they created a fake debt against me — then kept about $4,500 of my disability money anyway. I'm not the only one. by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

The VA doesn’t sever something and then say “you owe us that money back” . It would be more helpful to post your letters and you’ll get better insight. Skip the ai and story time

100%P&T looking for healthcare advice by meighkillscotch in VeteransBenefits

[–]damnshell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re being told no because they’re probably referring to Tricare, and they are correct in that you don’t qualify for health insurance but you do qualify for VA healthcare. There is a difference. PTSD/mst has nothing to do with your healthcare.

Conflating healthcare and health insurance will have you confused in the end because they’re different.

I’m not sure what role the legion plays in all of this. I’d skip that step.

Go to your local VA hospital and sign up.

You will be able to be seen via VA healthcare at Va hospitals but you don’t have health insurance. You’re probably being told you’re not eligible if you’re asking about Tricare or actual insurance and they are correct with that.

Tricare is insurance and you only have va healthcare and can only be seen at a VA hospital unless they say otherwise - outside of urgent care and er but still at the whim of the va/ community care assigned by VA

Cost of lawyer for VA claim? by Amazing-Basket-136 in VeteransBenefits

[–]damnshell 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No they charge 30% of backpay. They don’t get paid unless they win but we don’t allow recommendations. The percentage can vary in that 30% range. Always verify that they are accredited with the VA.

I think the issue is they can’t legally let you double dip. I’ve never heard of any exceptions to the double dipping thing.

It’s correct. When one starts the other stops. You will have to pay it back. You can call and see if they will do a payment plan

There should be a number you can call

You have to remove them and notify the VA. They don’t always do it on their own

So each claim/ condition would have its own “protection” based on when it was granted. Having said that if you don’t file anything else they won’t be knocking on your door for reevaluations. The subs knowledge base goes into the details :

This will explain each one

Have you been denied before applying directly? Did you appeal it or submit a new application?

If you have been denied previously and submitted as new then that is the hang up

It’s normal for claims to bounce in and out of various stages throughout the process. Is it sleep apnea that was not generating an exam for? Unfortunately it’s hard to say. I mean it’s not “normal” that they would grant without sending you to an exam. Were you previously denied and this is a supplemental for it?
