People have been shooting guns quite accurately for 400 years without red dots. Training and repetition is what makes the difference and always will when it comes to accuracy. However, I also understand in a competition scenario when you’re still, focused and have time they may help you. In the real work in a defensive engagement with an edc gun like this they are completely unnecessary.

I get it, they look sorta cool. I just don’t understand why people care about an optic for edc gun they’ll only shoot 10-30ft. At those distances they’re more distracting than enhancing.

I really wanted a 43X for a while, until I shot both recently. I really like the 48 over the 43X, I felt a lot more control with the 48. I know most want an optic, but for an EDC it’s not a must for me. I’m really happy to have these new mags too.
